Murphy - 8 great saves, great performance
Cyrus 6 - decent, nothing special but solid. Couple of mistakes but one of the better players today
Cameron 4 - Awful. Poor marking, at fault for a lot of Swindon chances, including the open goal in the 1st half
Martin 5 - some good blocking int he 2nd half, but still poor. Not impressed. Sooner Wood gets back the better
Dicko 6 - solid, but nothing special solid. Some good runs and linked well with Sheffers sometimes but nothign special
Baker - 5 did dodgy today. Tried a bit too hard tbh and he wasnt as good as he has been this season
Jenno 4 - Awful, made some ok challenges but didnt help when we were getting bombarded in the 2nd and f*cked up some passes and possesion
Bailey 6 - ok, some decent passing and movement, nothing special but one of the better players
Moussa 8 - MOTM for me. Instigated the few attacking moves we had during the game, scored the goal, set up some chances, defo MOTM
Sheffers 5 - better, but still not great, decent crossing but weak when it comes to being challenged by the Swindon players
Clarke 6 - helped out a lot in midfield and even defence, basically did Jennings job for him

Subs: Bell 5 didnt see much of him, his passing was little off but totally understandable after his long lay off
Cody n/a dont think he had more than 3 touches of the ball

Did you even watch the fucking game!? Dickinson was our worst player, gave the ball away needlessly when we needed the ball! We got skinned down the left side, his only quarter decent contribution was a hoof in the 6 yard box. No matter how badly Cameron played, Dickinson was worse, he was a joke, terrible player and I serious don't know how he is a 'professional'. No wonder he doesn't start wherever he goes.

You are either, blind or overly generous to your favourites, or didn't go and just guessed the ratings.

It may be your opinion, but some players played awful and you have rated some of the worse candidates well.

Murphy 7 some great saves
Christie 6 bit better than lateley
Martin 6 did ok
Cameron 5 bring back edje
Dickinson 6 bring back reckord
Bailey 6 bit better than lately
Jennings 5 woeful
Baker 4 STOP LOSING THE BALL did the break away and score from this for their first!
Macca 7 some great crosses
Moussa 7 better than lately too, quality finish for the goal
Clarke 7 looked lively,

subs all too late

their keeper keeping out Clarkes header was Philips esque (Crewe keeper)
how the hell didnt they score 5 today?

3000 noisy away fans, superb all game

thought we were gonna hold on, a little gutted to lose, a draw would have been nice

we need a manager

Noisy away fans? Thought they were poor until last 5 minutes.

And, I really must stop drinking before games, because if Bailey warrants a 6 for that performance then I was clearly more under the influence than I thought.

Six! He was beyond terrible.

You were right about Bailey, who seems to have checked out since his mommy left, but TBF to the Pighill fans, they were great. They out-sang us for 90 minutes.

I stick to my original point, the midfield were apalling, gave no service to Moussa as well as Leon-I thought Moussa was our brightest outlet on the counter and did a few other good things whilst not being a passenger like Bailey or giving the ball away as often as Baker or Jennings or the full-backs. If your midfield and full-backs are that bad, it doesn't matter how well Martin or Murphy play. And Martin won 5 or 6 tackles he had no right to superbly. Cameron also made a lot of blocks and headers that me and my brother must have imagined..he's MILES better than Wood!
What I saw from Cameron was numerous miss kicks, getting turned constantly, letting the ball bounce and 0 communication with others

Well without wishing to labour the point too much, I thought their fans were terrible considering the numbers. I just didn't hear them. What did they sing? For 90 minutes too apparently! Most of the first half they were completely silent and stood there arms folded looking pretty abject tbh.

Yes I am, Martin was decent, slightly shaky, Cameron was awful, I acknowledged that, but Dickinson, was fucking awful, he is good at nothing, apart from heading, he's possibly the worst LB I have every seen wear the shirt, Hussey is better than him and we all know where he is now!

Well for one "stand up if you love Swindon", followed by them all standing up! I dunno, maybe you were just sat a long way from them?

Murphy - 8 Player of The Season (though Baker will win it)
Christie - 6 OK
Dickinson - 6 defensively was not as bad as some on here say he is very basic but knows his limitations and rarely made crucial errors
Cameron - 2 Disaster
Martin - 7 - I though he showed commitment and guts. We were bombarded with attack after attack and he coped well enough
Baker - 4 Awful gave ball away cheaply time after time and crucially for the corner that led to the goal
Bailey - 4 Did he touch the ball?
Jennings - 4 Sadly he did touch the ball and constantly gave it away
Moussa - 6 OK but still anonymous for large parts
McSheffrey - 5 More of a threat than Baker but still poor
Clarke - 6 Felt sorry for him isolated and left to compete with the whole back 4 most of the time.

Disturbing as it as, I broadly agree with Grendel's ratings.

He did however miss out the MOTM - Tommy Hutchison walking onto the pitch at half time was by far the high point of the afternoon!

Disappointing that Baker, Bailey et al have all gone off the boil all of a sudden. Can this be the Robins leaving effect? Or is there a more underlying or sinister reason?
Surely they must be aware that the prospective manager, Eric Black,;) must be monitoring them and their future at the club is being put in jeopardy.

People are saying that Cameron and Martin had the worst performance by a city player ever...grow up...they defended like dogs the whole game and got feck all support from the midfield and as a result the whole team capitulated with five mins to go. Dickinson is by far the worst player I've seen this season play for city...it's like having a fecking statue at left back, he is super slow, can't defend, attack, can only just play a five yard pass and Macca has gone to shit because he is getting feck all support from him. He has been brought through the Tony Pulis academy of football and this is plain to see as he has no technical ability whatsoever. To think what we witnessed yesterday was what stoke fans see every week...I'd rather be in the conference and trying to play football than the prem and play rugby...before today id of had carsley til the end of the season but of these are the tactics he is implementing get someone in now and if it is a 4-4 fecking -2 merchant then we are all doomed to this this shit level of football for long like we were in the championship. If not then the play offs are achievable as long as we win the next four games against teams 19th and below

I've been watching Cov for 20 years and that was by far the worst performance I've ever seen. I was disgusted.

Take it that you weren't able to get up the Ricoh to watch the 4-1 defet to Bristol City a couple of years ago, then. Now that was really really shite.

Swindon are the only championship side I've seen up here this season. Money talks.

Martin was decent, bu personally, i think Cameron's marking was very dodgy and he took too much time in threatening situations, and his clearanes were poor. Sooner we get wood back the better

Clarke didn't win a header all game , granted he was quite isolated but not very helpful . He didn't do anything to justify a six for me

Clarke - 8 for effort.

We know Clarke is no good in the air. Obviously you and Carsley don't.
Get the ball on his chest and he will hold it up and lay it off.
Get those lazy unprofessional midfielders to support and anticipate that the ball may come their way.
Every time the ball came back into mid field either from kicking up to Clarke or cleared by the defence our players NEVER got there first.
This is basics and is criminal.

Boothroyd, Thorn and now Carsley have one tactic. Kick it up to the big player up front.
If I was a midfielder I'd give up (Oh they have)

In the last 2 games both these football minnows played it out of defence through the midfield.
Even Bournemouth with minutes to go didn't boot it up.

SISU get a manager in (If anyone will come) and get rid of this team of friends just taking a wage.

Jennings 2? Not having that, he gave the ball away way too often, but it was soon after he did something good, I'll give an example, he did a fantastic sliding tackle on the left wing (where was 'Dicko'?) it was successful, then what does he do? Gives the ball away straight away! Typical of his performance but there is no way he was the worst player on the field. That does to Dickinson, Cameron, Jennings, with Bailey and McSheffrey giving them a good run for their money.

how many times did we put a good move together? A goal after 2mins ,clarke header which the keeper saved, then what a poor alround display, murphy man of the match, yet was at fault for both goals,he is allowed come out of the 6 yard box when a cross comes over.20 goals conceeded from corners this season.

1-0 your scores would have been 6 & 7

If Clarke had scored that header I would've gave him an 8!

Probably most the scores would've went up by 1 had we won, but that's the nature of these match ratings because usually you don't do .5 ratings and if you have a player you put as a 5, had we won, he probably would've been a 6.

Murphy was never at fault for the 1st nor 2nd, brilliant save for the 1st, which Cameron doodled around like an idiot, for the second, poor defending, I don't think he should've came out on this occasion but he came out on many occasions to either punch/catch the ball, I can't fault him that game. Star man.

fair point, but our crossing was shocking again.Bakers free kick in the second half nearly went for a throw in.I notoced that when we had a corner Swindon kept 2 players up front which ment we had to keep at least 3 players back to mark them, giving them a quick out let

I'll tell some of the legends then, cause they said he should be holding on to the ball from shots,he very rarely gathers it cleanly. He is a good shot stopper I'll give you that.He does not command his area

Very true, is that a sign that other clubs know we aren't a threat from set-pieces? Which haven't been as good since that man Fleck's absence. I think he should be given a chance, what's the worse that can happen? Only CB who looked like he could score was Wood, now he's crocked. Baker nor McSheffrey can take a dead ball.

We need to score more from set-pieces, that is your best weapon if it's not happening from open-play imo.

Although it was Baker's stunning floated cross from deep that Leon nearly scored from..
