On a bright note, i had 20quid on Blackpool at 3/1. Chinese, 12 cans and a 1 night subscription to Babestation Xtra.

Fuck I miss babestation, we don’t have that over in Aus.

I like the race to shoot your load while the nipples are out before they put them away again

To be fair to Kane he does find space well. Not saying he’s great but finding space going forward is a good attribute of his.
Hamer finds his space IMO

Not the same man…. I like the race against time before she hides the tits

Plus there’s multiple channels and there’s always some elite bird. You can be on pornhub scrolling 20 pages and still haven’t found THE ONE lol

Amazed at the good marks for Kane - he was completely off the pace today. Bizarre that we kept funnelling him the ball (just like we did last season).

He couldn't run for the last ten minutes, fucking gash.

Caveated with at least half the team were confirmed as ill by MR and those that weren’t specifically named will surely be confirmed as so over the next few days.

Wilson - 4 - we know he’s over his head, but was especially obvious today. Distribution was poor, but to be fair, at times when the press was on, he literally had no option but to punt it.

Kane - 5 - surprised at the high marks for Kane. Raised his one dimensional ‘cross it from anywhere’ as a concern pre-game, and despite having no striker, that’s what he did. Positionally he was all over the place, looked hesitant on the ball and wasn’t an effective outlet.

Doyle - 5 - poor for the goal. But actually cant recall him being that bad individually otherwise. Still looked confident on the ball when on the front foot.

McFadzean - 6.5 - some great blocks across both halves. Disappointed he didn’t get closer to Madine.

Panzo - 5 - poor in the air and positionally, as exemplified by letting a near like for like ball for the goal on Tuesday through the channel between him and the CB.

Bidwell - 5 - we know he’s (very limited) offensively, but today was non-existent. Also thought he’s have a better plan to stop Yates.

Hamer - 7.5 - absolutely the right Hamer again today. Carried us first half and really stood up as a leader.

Sheaf - 6 - poor due to a number of sloppy passes, but never hid, still wanted the ball and still made a number of good offensive passes.

Allen - 6 - ran around a lot, but can’t remember him doing anything (perhaps harsh) other than the volly past the post.

COH - 7.5 - how he made it though 90 minutes is incredible. Not as involved or sharp as we’d like but that’s to be expected. Still glimpses of him and still a step above most.

Palmer - 7 - tough ask today, hes clearly not a back to goal player, especially today when he was continuously fouled by their CB.

When our footballers played well together, we scored.

As we try to play more expansive and possession based football, our WB’s attacking and positional ability will hold us back.

All about decision making. Sheaf turned down a glorious chance to shoot early on, then to make up for it he took on shots which were never really on. That seems like a common pattern to me. The ball gets into the opponent's third and players either get caught in two minds or they go for the wrong option right away.

Where the players have a better understanding with each other it happens less often.

Agree with @Great_Expectations and @Brighton Sky Blue comments.

If illness is as has been reported, then credit to the players in general for the effort that they put in. I have seen a lot worse displays from a City team (when supposedly fit). Disappointed (and thought we'd be hammered after the first 15 minutes) but we stuck in the game well, and improved as an attacking threat in the second half.

Yup.

Thing is Harry, if this morning we had been told we would have to play with no striker and that pretty much half the team and nearly all the defence were going to have to play ill, we would have written the game off as a defeat anyway wouldn't we. We wouldn't have expected anything out of the game

Just a very unlucky day where sickness hit the club.

At least O'Hare got through a full 90 minutes intact. One plus along with a very good goal.

Learning curve for Doyle. That pass was never on. Just put it out for a throw and reset

Oggy or someone made a good point last week. These young lads from top academies are taught to never ever give the ball away. Keep possession at all times. But results don't matter in youth footy, so when they come out on loan they have to learn that it's not all about retaining possession and that's where Doyle went today. You put that out for a throw 10 times out of 10

get this fraud out of my club

You've been a bit quiet about Sheaf recently

Bidwell is too. He may be solid defensively but he's offered fuck all going forward since game 3. He just passes it back every time now.

People are kidding themselves when they say he's better than Maatsen.

Defensively yes he is, but overall Maatsen is a much better player and is better suited to the way we want to play.

worst performance so far but when you make Blackpool look like Man City and playing without a striker until vik comes on what do we expect.

whole team 4..
Robin's 3. got it completely wrong yesterday from the first whistle til the last.

Doyle a level to much for him

Bidwell has been one of our better signings - he gets forward plenty and is an effective wing back - when you have Doyle and Panzo together at the back as well as Kane first start (he spends most time in the opponents half anyway) he’s bound to be cautious

He’s consistently been one of our better players this season

What did Robins get wrong? Wrong in having to play players who were ill? Should he have picked Gyokeres, who was apparently too ill to start?

Just wondering what else he could have done differently. We had at least 4 players out there that shouldn't have played, but had to. Walker was on the bench because he had only had one day's training and Eccles and Rose were missing through illness too.

So, what did he get wrong?

just my opinion of course, put i would never of started the game without a striker, was asking for trouble, he could of played walker first half and then vik the second at least we would of had some presence up top and not relying on o hare and palmer, even though they both done reasonably well, or he could of even included Tavares in the squad which would of given us some pace.

And if he had played Walker after just a single day's training and he got injured again, Robins would have been absolutely slated on here

Fact was, he couldn't start the game with either Walker OR Gyokeres.

Feels like David Busst could have helped shore up the defence with his experience yesterday, why wasn’t he even on the bench?

You can’t remember Doyle being that bad ? , I thought he was awful, didn’t win a thing in the air and is so one footed it defied belief.

that was fking shocking yesterday, and yes!!! i blame Robin's, his tactic's ,his team selection, we could and should of been 3-0 down before palmer scored, we were very lucky to go in at half time 1-0 up, even then i knew we would have to score again to ensure a result,
and yes, he can put yesterday's shocking performance down to a bug in the camp, or is that just a lame excuse.
