Got to do it
Alsopp - 5 Was a bit slow off his line a couple of times in the second half and seemed to labour to get back for the third. That said who would want to play behind that back 4
Penington - 5 Did OK but got caught inside for goal one
Haynes - 3 Trying his best to become the new Andrew Whing. A defender who cannot tackle and has no positional sense at all.
Webster - 3 Webster is error prone and his errors are always costly. Stupid to bring him in
Martin - 4 Poor defending for goal 3 and lacks mobility.
Fleck - 4 Such good news John has agreed a new deal - well good for the other league one midfielders who must be relishing coming up against him for another year
Thomas - 3 Passing not too bad but missed the two best chances including one from one yard
O Brien - 5 Lots of huffing and puffing but terrible free kicks and poor distribution
Jackson - 4 The invisible man - non existant
Madine - 3 Seemed to be trying to become the new Mick Ferguson but without the goals and heading ability. We really want to pay a fee for him
Nouble - 6 At least moved forward with an element of purpose but why he is defending at left back in the first half who knows
would agree with most of what you say but nouble why he is defending at left back in the first half who knows
Because you just have to remember its about work rate the manager said so
I don't have any ratings to give but its sad to see people get on Haynes back, he's an extremely talented lad and positioning and awareness will come in time, I reckon he'll be a winger by the end of next year
He'll come good, he's playing in a very poor struggling team, not the best time to cut your teeth.
Alsop-5. Bit of a step backwards on recent form, wasn't great for the goals, didn't command area well.
Pennington-4. Not a RB. Really, really should have at least hit the target with his header.
Martin-3. Rubbish, carthorse, donkey. Worse than Seabourne?
Webster-2. Double-donkey. Couple of decent headers save him from a 1. Too much bad stuff to list!
Haynes-4. Couple of decent tackles but not great positioning and doesn't overlap like he used to. Poor crosses today.
O'Brien-6. At least grafted, won a few balls, but technically, very poor. Lacked support from RB/ST's.
Thomas-3. Some pressing and tackling but those two chances were completely shanked.
Fleck-5. Couple of decent balls and a few tackles, one who improved a bit second half, but still too deep and blew a great chance when he passed rather than shooting.
Nouble-8. Some good runs, some good holding the ball up waiting for support that never came, two cracking crosses that should have been buried. Worked hard defensively, possibly too hard, hence the pen!
Jackson-4. Missed decent chance due to terrible first touch. Seemed to be trying but fed nothing and when he did get the ball, he was constantly tackled and lost possession. Too weak.
Madine-4. Worst performance for the club? Got no service, tbf, but needs to show a better attitude.
Seabourne-6. Couple of nice touches. Another player that we're miles from getting the best out of.
Thomas-4. Just looked totally out of his depth, so fitted in quite well...
Where was webster? On his arseAgree with most people on most players... But I really don't know how anyone can rate Martin higher than Webster.
Webster was not good, but Martin was dreadful and his efforts for the third goal was one of the most pathetic things I've ever seen.
Seabourne? :thinking about::thinking about:
Allsop - 4 not great
Pennington - 3 not a right back
Martin - 3 poor
Webster - 3 poor
Haynes - 4 poor (has he been told not to cross the half way line?)
Thomas - 3 poor
Fleck - 3 poor
O'brien - 4 poor
Jackson - 4 poor
Madine - 4 poor
Nouble - 5.5 better than the rest but no end product, and gave away the penalty
and i've probably been generous
ahah
you give people a 3 with no comment
but because nouble did better you still have to put a negative spin on it
you just hate him, and its horrible the reason why.
and its horrible the reason why.
What is that meant to mean?
I had never seen anything so bloody dire in all my life last night. No-one wanted it - there was no passion, no hunger. Swindon weren't even exceptional, they just played football and we couldn't even manage the basics. Absolute dire.
And for those who thought Nouble was the best player, Jesus, you must have been watching a different game - he was awful and barely passed the ball, trying to take it on all the time and getting nowhere - why the hell was he on the wing and the only one crossing it in, the crosses were shite. That said, so was the movement and support.
They must have got some kind of rollicking at half time as the closing down and pressure in the second half was miles better. That's what they should have been like from the start of the game!
Sure, it was always going to be a tough game but really, we could have got a draw if we actually wanted it last night and had more options going forward in support.
I think Pressley got it wrong, and the players let themselves down and the fans, most of them just didn't bother. Why the hell JOB was taken off when he was one of the ones actually putting some effort in is beyond me! God it's so friggin' frustrating supporting this bloody club!
The signing have been crap in my view, I say turf them out and go back to the drawing board!?
The Thomas miss from 1 yard out and Pennington's header over from 5 yards out were both clearcut chances created by quality Nouble cosses. I think you must have gone to the loo when they happened!
I wouldn't take much notice of ccfc4l, he's attempting to take the crown from RFC of the biggest forum dimwit.
still crying because you stood up for astute and then realised he was doing the thing you were arguing against?
ahahahah
You accused someone of not being a proper fan or some shit like that, and I pulled you up on it. Wouldn't say I was crying about it, tbh no one really takes you seriously anyway. You come across as a child and not a very bright one at that.
Madine-4. Worst performance for the club? Got no service, tbf, but needs to show a better attitude.
