charles cook 5 - thought he was dodgy tonight, dropped a couple of balls and was making me nervous.

Phillips 6 - yet another penalty, was ok defensively but good assist

Ricketts 6 - is better at right back, was unlucky with their 2nd as he was fouled and it was handball

Martin 6 - was ok

Stokes 5 - won a few headers but didnt do much. Worked hard

Fleck 6 - nowhere near as good as saturday, too late releasing the ball but great ball to phillips for 2nd

Vincelot 6 - good booking in 96th min needs a rest saturday

Kent 7 - marked up slightly for getting his first goal, didnt do much else

Cole 6 - beckham esc free kick but didnt set the game alight. Few clever ideas that his feet struggled to execute

O'brien 7 - worked hard as usual, brilliant flick for 3rd goal

Armstrong 9 - 2 great finishes, constant threat, good pressure of defensive line

Murphy 6 - some good runs nearly scored

Lameiras 5 - ineffective

Tudgay 6 - didnt do much, deserves a chance saturday in Armstrongs absense.

Charles Cook 6- Looked a little more unsure of himself than in recent weeks but did make a worldie of a save at 3-2
Phillips 5- Did brilliantly down the right flank for Armstrong's first, but gave another penalty aware and at times looks frail defensively

Ricketts 5- Ditto

Got to question dropping stokes and vincelot there, they've been outstanding performers for us this year. Phillips and Haynes at full back would make me very nervous.

Read on Twitter Sunday that Stokes dislocated his shoulder vs Peterborough and then when he went down tonight seemed a problem with the same shoulder. Would make sense to give him a week to recover and bring haynes in

Maybe it's a good sign that despite lowish ratings we scored 4? Obv coned ed 3 but still believe we are good enough to win league

Haynes needs minutes as hes only back up and stokes needs rest. Vincelots banned

Think it was a head injury tonight for Stokes

let's cut to the chase, good performances by most, TM assessed the performance by understanding the trials & tribulations of young footballers,
but importantly, again we've had to put up with a sunday league standard referee

Why are some people giving Phillips such a low rating. Yes he took a few mins getting into it but the run and cross for Armstrong goal is worth at least a 6 itself. He is starting to play like he used to when first breaking into the side. Bombing up the wing and making some fantastic challenges. Also wins a fair amount of headers for his size. Wears his heart on his sleeve and really don't understand the stick he gets. The penalty was unlucky. The stick he gets from the crowd is shite tbh. I also thought he kept possession a lot better tonight and he seems to be growing in confidence.

I had him on a 6/7 but the handball brings him down to a 4, appalling from him after conceding a penalty the other week for almost exactly the same thing. Unforgivable

Apart from one wayward pass, I thought Vincelot was superb. He broke up play, should some lovely trickery, kept the ball moving and showed some real guile too.

I would give him an 8 or 9 apart from the fact that the whole team sort of capitualted a bit in the second half. Definitely worthy of a 7 though surely?

That interests me Otis. I normally share your opinion on games so I have thought Martin has been more solid than Ricketts these last two games but you have given him a higher marking. What am u seeing or not seeing that I am do you think?

I thought Ricketts looked a lot more assured and also on two occasions was very much an attacking threat too. He made one fantastic run all the way from his own half right to the edge of the opposition's box.
