Mowbray said after the game that Harries won't be playing 40 games a season. He also said that Ricketts wasn't meant to be playing much this season.

So I guess it would be Willis, Turnbull and Ojala. Without seeing two of those three play for us yet I think that could be pretty solid.

Would agree with nearly all that, though I would score Willis higher. I thought he had a good game, that crazy pass into the stands excepted.

Been disappointed with what I have seen of Ghadzev. Thought he was supposed to set this league alight wasn't he?

He's been pretty bang average. Some lovely little passes, but doesn't really impose himself on the game.

For me only Ricketts, Willis, Harries and McCann come out of the game with any real credit.

Ghadzhev has been poor, he was decent enough against Portsmouth but has failed to impress in the two home league matches. Hes been hiding the last two matches, hes not making himself available to receive passes often enough from his teammates.

Ricketts. Beaten many times in the air but did get some very good blocks in later on 6

Rose. Ran about a bit didnt really contribute a lot then got injured 5
Ghadzev. Hope he hasnt peaked already looked lost tonight and his long range passing wasnt there tonight 5
McCann. Looked strong at the start but faded not fit yet but still our 2nd best player tonight 6.5
Lameiras. Very poor tonight poor passing poor control 4
Tudgay. Didnt get any support got out muscled didnt really contribute a lot 5
Thomas. Truly shocking 2

RCC - 6 - missed punch and did not attack other crosses, but saved us at the end with the one on one, great reactions and speed of his line.

Willis 7 - no idea what that cross field pass was, but solid performance.
Ricketts - 6 - struggled a little with Pope, but good commitment towards the end especially with blocks/tackles.
Harries - 8 - looks better each game. Very composed on the ball and his judgement/decision making is improving.

Rose - 5 - busy as always, but never going to create much when he gets it. Missed his height when he went off.
Ghadzev - 5 - needs to run the show. When he wants to he makes forward runs and nice passes, but not enough. So talent, but doesn't use it enough - literally a like for like swap with Fleck.
McCann - 6 - I think I was watching a different game to everyone else. I'm confident he will become vital, but underwhelmed today. Didn't offer for the ball as much as Stevenson in the previous two games.
Haynes - 7 - looking more confident each game and his defensive ability has improved. Attacking wasn't the strongest, but that's in part due to a constant lack of options.

Lameries- 5 - so frustrating. Bags of ability, but as soon as one thing goes wrong his confidence goes and its downhill from there.
Tudgay - 4 - worked hard, lasted 90, but not sure what he offered.
Thomas - 4 - looked better than last Tuesday, but was still poor. Not sure what type of player he is? Makes the odd run as though he plays off the lag man but he has no pace?

DKE - tried, but lost.
Jones - 5 - tried for 10, was too greedy, then got knackered.
Reid - 4 - no end product and looked lazy without the ball. Might be fitness?

Ironic that we were all worried about our defence, but it's the attack that's letting us down.

Haynes 5 - needs to hit top speed way more. Lacks fitness in my opinion
Ghadzhev 5 - just ok
McCann 7 - good debut and would put him with Sevenson as our cm's
Tudgay 4 - wins zero flick ons lacks mobility
Lameiras 6 - no end product but he is effected by the lack of talent in this team
Thomas 4 - slow weak (loan out ASAP)

Gadzhev - 5 a few interceptions but overall very poor. Worst performance yet for ccfc.
McCann - 6 hopefully more to come but showed bits of magic
Lameiras - 4 didn't get going again.
Thomas - 4 no real service, got in a great position but ball was played to his left when he wanted it on the right.
Tudgay - 4 drops too deep too often looking to spark something but we need him at the top of the pitch.

Subs:

Jones - 6 a driving force but becoming a bit predictable and not comfortable on his right foot, still nursing a niggle tho so not 100%
Reid - 5 does the hard work but end products not there... We knew this tho. More to come I hope.
DKE - 5 size will always be his issue, works hard and so close with his shot.
Was a poor game but a point taken, we were under no illusions that we had enough to beat a physical bury team, we done well to claim the point. Recruitment is key now and defence has been boosted in Turnbull signing and more needed.
A experienced striker is desperately required to be the main figure head and a fast powerful tall striker from a club like Chelsea/West Ham on loan.
