hands like flypaper

quick decisive distribution

did what he had to do without really being tested

Very early to say but barring an early blip where he probably took slightly too long and his kick was blocked by their striker he was perfectly calm and assured. He wasn't particularly tested greatly in terms of shot stopping but his distribution was better than Burge's and he came and confidently/comfortably took several crosses. I would like to see him get another game tomorrow and felt like the centre back partnership trusted him.

Very comfortable in the air
Distribution was excellent didn't resort to booting it rolled it out 9 times out of 10
Looked commanding

One slip up as mentioned and not much to do. Would play him v Yeovil and if he has a similar performance play him again at fleetwood

Yes agree with this.

Also the defence as a whole looked very composed and I'm not sure Shrewsbury would have scored if we had played for another 90 mins.

Only judging after one game but would like to see RCC have an extended run in the team as I feel he is the better all-round keeper.

That slip, the referee gave us a free kick and had a word with the forward think it could have been for hand ball not sure

He kept a clean sheet, didn't have much to do but looks a good prospect.

Ive just watched the interview on Sky Blue Player and he seems a really good character add that to his
performances in the u21s as well as Saturday and I think we can see why Mowbray didn't rush out to bring in an experienced goalkeeper and used the budget in other areas.
