We also have the joint 2nd best defensive record in the league at the moment. And that's whilst starting dabo at CB in two of them. I'm hardly concerned defensively when everyone is fit. Some cover for Maatsen's inevitable suspensions would be nice!

Statistically a team will concede a goal per game over the course of a season. Which is why strikers and attacking players have always cost so much more and is also why this is where we concentrated out spending.

I agree I don't think come 10 games time, we will be in the same situation, but I also don't think we will be too bad defensively as we are much more of a threat to teams this season than last, so they won't be looking at us the same as last year in terms of being able to dominate games and score a crap tonne.
