It all went pear shaped after Richard Shaw hung up his boots, you know that Rigsby. A consistent performer winning accolades for both “Player of the Year” and “Players’ Player of the Year”, quality like that is irreplaceable without spending large and we haven't got 2 ha'pennies to rub together. Couple that with the loss of our shirt waving and badge kissing players and it was always going to be an uphill struggle eh Rigsby?

As I've said before, if Shaw is the standard if player our supporters deem player of the year material, is it any wonder we have been on a continual decline. How are you Supermac?

Otis makes a good point but the season is so young still. We have played most of the top teams already and during our 'transition' period. When we get it right week in week out I still think we will storm up the league. I think promotion is very likely through the playoffs.
We do have a large and useful squad that many in this league simply can't have and when the season and winter drags on many teams will start to fade from early good starts. We can only get better unless you are of the opinion that MR is rubbish?

So keep the faith for now let him sort it and the results will come thick and fast. Unlike Otis though I do still think the majority of teams in this league are woeful. I think as I predicted last year Sheff Utd will win it and we will be in the chasing pack.
