I would think so yesIs the first Red Redemption on P.C?
I think you come across the female palaeontologist whilst you are at the camp near Valentine. All she does is ask you to send on bones via the post office/stations when you find them. I only found 3 in the wilds...a couple others I looked up on internet. Others...didn’t bother.
Same is true with dream catchers...found about half of them whilst exploring but didn’t bother with all. Will do if I play it all again.

After playing RDR2 in 2020 up until chapter 2, I have revisited in Oct 2024 on PS4 (my time playing RDR2 was rudely interrupted by starting 'The last of Us' and thinking games don't get better than this! Story, characters, gameplay etc.) and fookin loving the open world adventure....
perhaps I was too daunted by the sheer scale, randomness and unable to work Deadeye etc. properly!
But now really enjoying all that aspect of it.
Anyhow, I'm a bit slow in regards of getting the latest games, as shown with my Football manager saves (on FM18 sporadically nowadays) and looking for inspiration regarding these types of games?
Any recommendations (apart from getting out more! )?
Get on Ghosts of Tsushima. Been pout a few years so you can pick it up cheap somewhere. One of the best games I've ever played.GTA 5, Days gone, Cyberpunk 2077, Ghost of Tsushima. Witcher series is meant to be good but never played it. Probably missed off some really obvious ones as well.

Couldn't get into GTA 5 unfortunately as my driving skills on video games is shocking .... always crashing!GTA 5, Days gone, Cyberpunk 2077, Ghost of Tsushima. Witcher series is meant to be good but never played it. Probably missed off some really obvious ones as well.
Just bought Witcher 3 GOTY, so I will look forward to that, not played the other 2 previous games, does it matter? Should I read up on the lore a little?Story, characters, gameplay etc.) and fookin loving the open world adventure - Witcher 3 would be my recommendation for all of these things
GoT appears to be still holding it's value, so not as cheap as you'd think!? Around £20-25 second hand.Get on Ghosts of Tsushima. Been pout a few years so you can pick it up cheap somewhere. One of the best games I've ever played.
Thanks for the recommendationI love/d GTA V, realised that it's been out 11(!) years and I still like to have a mooch about in the world they've created.
I played through the remaster of the first Mafia and it's weird that they set a linear game in such a great looking open world, outside of free roam mode you could play the whole thing through and not see most of it. I've got back into Mafia 3 which has such a good setting and possibly the best soundtrack in game history but it's very repetitive.

I think that bodes well as an indication of how good it is
Cheers

Days Gone and ghost of Tsushima interest me a lot but heard DG was a bit of a flop?
It that the zombie/motorcycle gang game?Days Gone is absolutely fantastic, I think it was IGN who absolutely hammered it in their review of it and it put of loads of people but for me it's one of the best games of this gen.
I've just remembered about Mad Max, it has a real sense of being desolate and vulnerable. I'm pritty sure it uses the same combat system as Arkham Asylum game.
Just a heads up...re. Batman, the 'Arkham collection' on PS4 is £5.99 for 3 games on PS Store until 22/11 atm.Days Gone is absolutely fantastic, I think it was IGN who absolutely hammered it in their review of it and it put of loads of people but for me it's one of the best games of this gen.

Will keep an eye out, thanksDirectors cut edition of Ghost of Tsushima is regularly on sale in Smyths for £25.
A lot of bike riding? It that the zombie/motorcycle gang game?
I really couldn't get into it. Thought it was The Last Of Us with bikes.

And Mad Max is £3.99.
Never played Batman, but at £6 should I be looking to buy them? Any good? I've had a brief look at reviews...
Coincidentally, MMax, Days Gone and Batman is there a lot of bike/car travel?

After a search, the PS3 version is a bit buggy/laggy due to frame rate, unfortunately.Re. RDR 1 (not 2), I have a PS3 and PS4 pro.
Is it worth the extra money to play it on PS4 instead of PS3? as it's only around £3 on the latter and £35 on PS4!
Hugely underrated, loved the atmosphere of that game. Shame a sequel was dropped, would have happily gone in for moreDays Gone is absolutely fantastic, I think it was IGN who absolutely hammered it in their review of it and it put of loads of people but for me it's one of the best games of this gen.

All great, the first (Asylum) is my favourite as it's more confined and claustrophobic whereas the others possibly go too expansive (depends entirely on your taste for this kind of thing though). £6 for all three is an incredible bargain, I'm tempted by that myself even though I've played them all throughNever played Batman, but at £6 should I be looking to buy them?
