The officials were not at fault for our performance.
I think Sakamoto went down a little bit too early for the officials to give him free kicks - that’ll come as he adapts to the league and footballing culture.
To hear the person behind me say ‘it’ll be hard to beat that ref as the worst this season,’ was OTT.
Pretty sure MR hasn’t said anything about the officiating which tells a bit of a story itself.

Where their player kicked it out and he gave a goal kick?I agree with a lot of this.
Some decisions were bizarre definitely, but I felt Sakamoto was just a bit bullied at times and didn't stand up to it well. The one stand out exception to that was some point in the second half where he got cleared out to the right where we were looking. Was absolutely blatant but the ref didn't give it. Couldn't help thinking it was because the ref had told him to get up so many times that even when something actually happened, it was like he didn't believe it.
Yeah Kelly gets rugby tackled. They did go over very easy which made some of the fouls on our players not given even more frustrating. I'm all over the timewasting directives but the standard is still generally poor, can't see the point in linos nowadays as they don't make decisions full stop even when faced with blatant fouling on corners, the one on Kelly as he was running into the box at the corner was ridiculous.
That’s not true he made a call that Thomas let the ball go out for a corner. They did go over very easy which made some of the fouls on our players not given even more frustrating. Or the lineman who hadn't kept up?That’s not true he made a call that Thomas let the ball go out for a corner.
You'd think Sakamoto had, the way he gave him hardly anything!Isn't he the ref who shags his dog?
He wasn't really bullied though was he, he got walloped several times and still kept going back for more even though it was clear the ref wasn't giving him anything.I agree with a lot of this.

He put his shoulder right in to his face while looking straight at him. That was a borderline red then drags Kelly down in the box which should be a yellow every day of the week he should have been off yet no cards given at all.Their number 30 who barged Sakamoto was dirty overall and ref did nothing, he was the one who dragged Kelly down too

better angle

Yep I forgot this replay that's more from the refs angle absolutely nailed on.Just a completely blatant red card. Shambolic refereeing.
This is the video Tats pulls their pants down with his skill too.
Other angle definite red elbow. He knows ref can’t seeQuite poor positioning that and if the league wanted to look I’m not sure a deliberate shoulder to the face isn’t worthy of a red
He takes it well
Swansea player reaction says it all he knew ref couldn’t see.
Other way round definitely yellow if not more
I can't remember if the league are allowed to look retrospectively if a foul is given or if they can't change a yellow to a red.Quite poor positioning that and if the league wanted to look I’m not sure a deliberate shoulder to the face isn’t worthy of a red
