The cancer got worse when south Americans started to come over hereWasn’t there so I can’t comment on the efficacy of the ref. It’s an understandable shame these conversations happen though.
Yes, referees can and often should get better. However shouldn’t more focus and blame fall on the players? Every manager has to protect their players, I get that……but why don’t pundits slam this cancer on the game.
Shame players, shame the sponsors of these players. Can’t see it changing without public opinion making it change. Many South American countries consider it an art form. Disappointingly, we’re not that far behind…
Still can’t believe that Godden is the o key player to dive and win a pen in the whole of English football this season.Just expand the rule Godden got done on to all conning of the ref and have retrospective bans handed out.
Blackburn wouldn’t be able to field a team for the rest of the season though.
Often thought this as well. Has a slight stench of “throwing the baby out with the bath water” but still think it’s worth a go. Even if only the 2nd halves of games (and extra time).I think the time wasting could be solved relatively easily. I put a post up the other day… if you don’t have treatment on the sidelines it’s a minimum period before you can come back on. Say 3/4 even 5 minutes. Soon stop them going down if their team has to play with ten men for a proper period instead of being waved back on instantly.

Weve seen teams time wasting from the 6th minute this season (Luton)
Agree with that trouble is the EFL are corrupt.1 player all season has been retrospectively banned all season in all 4 divisions. Don’t have an issue banning Godden but at least look at all matches and apply the penalties across the board.Just expand the rule Godden got done on to all conning of the ref and have retrospective bans handed out.

Unintended consequences with concussion. Only was is to follow the laws and add appropriate time onI think the time wasting could be solved relatively easily. Was over 10
this really winds me up, so easy to stop. yellow card first time you do it, second yellow and off if you do it again. wouldn't be long before it stopped.Time wasting from the opposition has be laughable all season but today just topped it, rolling around and constantly sitting down at the slight touch. Ref just lets them take the piss. Shocking

It pisses me off they never bother penalising for players kicking the ball away or blocking quick free kicks too.
They should both be an instant yellow.
Agree with this only gk and side taking the kick throwing etc should pick up the ball.Walking off with the ball too. I’d have a simple “don’t touch the ball if it’s not your set piece” rule, maybe with an exception for when it’s miles away or with the GK or whatever, but nothing kisses me off more than when we want to take a FK/throw in and the opposition wanders about with the ball refusing to give it back.
Bottled the penalty? That was a big call that he got right. If he’s a Premier referee God help us, fucked about with his pissing ear-piece for ten minutes, bottled the penalty probably because he would have had to send the defender off what he booked Gyo for heaven knows, booked their Chilean striker then ignored his mimicking clapping which is a yellow card offence, what do these assessors think ?

That sounds great. Until someone clatters your player and reduces your team to 10 players for 5 minutes.
Actually I have just watched it on Quest and have to agree with the decision. Godden jumping a tackle did trip himself so fair enough to the referee, having said that he was crap.Bottled the penalty? That was a big call that he got right.
Only if he lies on the floor for an age feigning injury.
Plenty of Springer spaniels sniffing peoples crotches today - saw one individual being taken awayThe ref being absolutely fucking useless has got nothing to do with South Americans mate. The amount of cunts banging Charlie at the game however....

Was a job to keep the wife away from from taking one homeI saw the sniffer dogs, something I never thought I'd witness at a football ground.
Really? I can remember Lincoln having a fewI saw the sniffer dogs, something I never thought I'd witness at a football ground.
