He’s been shite for weeks/months! Almost like he gets picked based on last seasons performances

If he had a Welsh sounding name, he'd be given dogs abuse.

We need to sort the defence out. I also feel we crumble if we concede. The team to me seem low on confidence and almost scared at times. Frank has much work to do.

I don't think relegation is remotely in it once the new team has had time with the players.

We do need more bodies in.
Plenty of bodies at the graveyard. They'd show more movement than our defence

If it doesn't drastically improve, then yes.

Even when we play well we still look like we could concede whenever the opposition come forward. We often do. If we keep shipping goals the way we are, we will not pick up many points.

We are, at the moment, an extremely poor side.

Can’t think of any of the back line who ever come out with any positives. I always hope that Bobby Thomas comes good but the longer it goes on I can’t see it happening!

Are we?

We're almost halfway through the season. Lost too and not beaten some utter shite

Players look not arsed

No change in urgency of them from Robins, to Carr, to today with Lampard

None of them have taken the bull by the horns, not one of them has tried to gee up the others, not one of them has raised their game, not one of them has ran themselves into the ground to show they're worth the shirt

Today was the first time I felt concerned about the R Word

This is more than a management issue

This is £45 million pissed away on not to the level players

No chance. It’ll take a couple of games.. unless Lampard is not the man so many wanted, in which case we are screwed. Robins in his first spell lost his first game, second spell he lost the first three in a row.

We have a team devoid of leaders and experienced heads that is haemorrhaging goals - we need a manager who will come in and be as pragmatic as we need to be to shore things up and grind out results, but I somehow doubt that’s what Lampard was telling DK in the job interviews. I fear if Lampard insists on an ambitious/expansive system that takes time to implement then we will really be in the shit.

Today just proves that DK was right to move on from Robins.

Even with a new manager bounce, it was awful. Still not sure what's wrong, but it needs lancing. I don't think we're in massive danger though (some very poor teams below us) so I'm sure they will turn it around.

Better hope gyokeres gets sold in January though!!!

At what stage of the season do people admit we’re in trouble? December now and we’re treading water above the drop zone while struggling against seemingly every team around us.

I will say out of all of them, MVE’s performance was breathtakingly shit. Who is going to pay money for any of these players if we go down? It will just be Haji Wright who we need fit ASAP

it’s not December and we are not in trouble yet. Crap, but not a ‘relegation battle’

New manager bounce rarely happens in game one- look at Robins’ first games in both spells.

I do find our performances this season so baffling. I couldn't watch today's game, but from the sounds of the commentary, the match thread and the ratings, we were woeful.

But this season we have had the Tottenham performance (yes we lost, but the performance was good), Luton first half we were really good, just terrible defensively, Middlesbrough we were really good (before they had a sending off), second half at Sunderland....

Also, for me Simms has to start, he had an awesome game against Luton, picked up an injury and hasn't started since.

Lampard has come in with a relatively easy run of games. With the deck we have and a new manager bounce that seemingly every club but us gets we should have been looking at 9 points minimum and going on a bit of a run.

Today we looked a million miles away from being able to do that. The first half wasn't great by any stretch of the imagination, we made a very poor Cardiff side look decent. But that was a million times better than what we saw in the second half which was appalling. Very very lucky to get a point out of that.

Equally worryingly for me it felt like the first time the crowd was really starting to turn. They can post all they like on social media but if we don't start improving quickly I can see people questioning both Lampard and King for appointing him,

That said we still have a run of games where we should be able to pick up points, let's hope Lampard can work some magic.

100%. Defence needs major surgery. Backbone, leadership and some evidence of an ability to concentrate needed urgently.

Major surgery required on our "Deck" in January if we are to survive this season.
We are seriously lacking in leaders, in fight and in Bollocks.

This "Deck" doesn't have what's required to dig themselves out of a hole, and I'm not confident that FL is the man to get a tune out of them, in fact I fear they will throw Frank under the bus.

We have good individual players who can’t play with the others . All these players are the same that Robins had … hastened to say we are going nowhere and a clear out will need to happen sooner rather than later.

MVE looks off form and devoid of any belief, but i don’t think he’s lazy. He probably still covered more ground today than anyone else. Probably needs a run of games out of the team but we have no other options so we will just Fankaty Dabo him into the ground

The threat of relegation was why I thought Robins needed to be moved on. Today showed it is really poor recruitment rather than day to day management. Fingers therefore need to point at Ausin as well as Robins. We needed second RB to compete with MVE, we needed an experienced CB, we needed a LB to improve on a weak position. We needed help in CM. Sheaf and Eccles do not look fully fit but have to play every match. And all we did was keep acquiring forwards. EMC may come good. Bassette one for the future, BTA we may as well be using Tavares so money down the drain.

As for GK. Collins is woeful. Wilson can shot stop but can't distribute. Dovin can distribute but we must of shattered his confidence

Remember Doug King has gone on record saying the Gyokeres sale has no bearing on the transfer budget.

Only time will tell.

Confidence will help. Must be demoralising knowing you've got to score at least 3 to win a game. Seeing Collins and JDS on the teamsheet would make an u12 girl Ms side think they have a chance.

It amazes people can’t see what the issue is, you loose the amount leadership & characters in the dressing room we have in such a sort period of time it’s going to leave you with a bunch of youngsters without any backbone. Whilst he’s an excellent player, Sheaf is never a captain. Dropped the ball massively this summer not getting in 2/3 experienced heads to lead the dressing room

Genuinely if United get the CB’s they want in January I wouldn’t be against us going for Jonny Evans for 6 months
I think if MVE can find his form, get Dovin back in and Bidwell for JDS it would immediately be loads better. Wouldn't be against Kitching for Binks either but not a hill I'd die on.

The danger is there doesn't seem to be 3 proper shite teams in the league this season, it's incredible tight. 3 points separating 16th and 23rd, bottom only 2 points more but they have 2 games in hand.

Our performances, Squad, lesser teams in the league, New coaches...
But as a whole we can't put 2 decent performances together, we struggle to put 2 decent halves together.
The squad is the reason we are in this position. Not good enough.
Lesser teams in the league...oh the good old we are too good to go down response. Are you sure there are 3 teams worse than us?
New coaches cannot polish a turd. Just hope they get to move some on and get in some players in January
