I lived in Langley Croft for about 15 years. There were a few "heavy" families in the area, but I was on really good terms with them. BTW, Langley Croft is just off Faseman Ave - Job's Lane end.
And don't come in and live in my road.
My side is nice, but the other side of the road is the other side of the tracks. Owned our side, council housing the opposite side.
One family got evicted last week. Finally! After 5 years of police cars and ambulances and fire engines and noise and drugs etc.
All finally came to a head when they threatened a lovely old couple at the end of the row who wouldn't hurt a fly.
It is a nice street here, but let down by just three families.
Such a shame. Our neighbours, both sides are absolutely lovely.
I am sure you will find somewhere really nice for that sort of rent.

As a follow up to this I have to say that Whitefriars are still cleaning up the mess at the house across the road.
Been 4 weeks now since this family have been evicted and there are up to 6 Whitefriars vans outside every day. Every day for the past 4 weeks.
Apparently when they first got into the house there was just one pathway through to the kitchen and the rest of the house was piled up with rubbish and junk and cat and dog poo. There was even dog poo on the ceiling.
How do people live like that and how come they simply get moved elsewhere? They have apparently been living in a hotel for the past 3 weeks, put up in their by Whitefriars.
What a family. All that is wrong with society.
I have been told that it has cost £13,000 so far to put things right.
There was a mum, boyfriend and 4 kids. No-one worked, all on benefits.
The eldest lad has just turned 17 and has recently got himself a girlfriend in the past 3 or 4 months. She is now pregnant.
The mum walks with crutches everywhere, but many a neighbour has seen her ditch the crutches and walk quite normally when moving the bins or doing stuff in the garden.
They used to take taxis everywhere, had constant takeaways delivered and were taking drugs (used to see cars pull up outside, money changed hands and the cars would drive off again).
They had 4 cats and a dog, a Staffie. The boyfriend used to taunt the dog and wind him up to try and make him aggressive and would kick him on occasion.
Hadn't seen the dog for a while, but have now been told the boyfriend used to grab the dog by the throat and then punch it in the stomach. The dog had to be put down.
Glad they have gone, but now have sympathy with wherever they have gone to.

I have mentioned before, our street on the whole is lovely.
One side are all owned houses and reasonably big, the other side, Whitefriars properties and much smaller.
Just two families have spoiled the street and they are next door to each other and both Whitefriars tenants.
Our neighbours both sides are really nice and we are friends too with two doors down, one house across the road and a neighbour 3 doors down and the old couple across the street.
We are sort of Keresley, but right on the cusp of Coundon and Whitmore Park.
It's a really nice quiet street 90% of the times.
Now it is almost back to 100% of the time.
The family that were evicted would constantly kick the doors down and kick the garden fence and gate. Whitefriars would just come out and replace it. Think it has been kicked down and replaced 3 times in the 6 years we have been here.
With all the things that have gone on, the one thing that has truly puzzled me is why they would throw dog shit on the ceiling.
