Probably had that from the insurance, so why bother ordering anymore if you've already met and probably beaten your sales targets for replica shirts. After all it's not like they've got to sell left over stock at a knock down price now, depending on how good the insurance policy was they may have already recieved RRP on everything thatwas taken.

Inside job???? :)

Can't see Timmy & joy with facemasks on - or is that discussion for another X rated type forum

The club weren't prepared to get the new stock as they diodn't give it enough thought as low on their list of priorities like buying new players,

It is a truely awful club shop, i know its a completely different scale but I went to Madrid last summer and there club shop at the ground was incredible home and away shirts everywhere, every players name pre printed, training kits, boots, hoodies, coats, posters everything you could want. Just need something like that and it gets the kids interested, I mean I'm 21 and I was running around the madrid one like a kid in a sweet shop. Instead the ccfc kids have screen wash or a ccfc rubber duck too purchase if their lucky

Worlds apart from almost any club in the league now. The reason we haven't got merchandise to sell is that there is no priority given to it at all. I expect a small order given to a low grade supplier to coincide with ST sales in the spring/early summer. I wouldn't bother ordering too many if I was them as at this rate !
Court cases, court cases, bullshit, court cases, new ground blah blah, court cases, bullshit, court cases !!!

SISU OUT is the ONLY way forward !

It's true to say we've never been the quickest at getting the shirts out and have often been a few weeks into the season before they turn up but that's a long way from what's happening now.

I suspect what happened is next to no stock was ordered as they expected to be at Sixfields using a kit in it's second season. It's possible that by the time they came back the lead time meant they wouldn't get the shirts until around Xmas and we traditionally see massive reductions on the shirts post Xmas so they didn't want to risk being stuck with a load of stock they couldn't shift.

It's communication again, if there is a valid reason then just say what it is. As with anything if what they tell us stands up to scrutiny a good proportion of the fanbase would accept it.

Your right about the communication. As always, in trying to not look incompetent, they've made themselves look incompetent.

A Family member works for NEXT and buys from the Far East etc etc and lead times for ordered stock varies from around 16 to 18 weeks but can be up to 26 to 30 weeks!

So not unusual.

I own my own business.
On November 1st my new After Sales Service Director put together a plan to kit out all our Service Engineers in T Shirts, Under Fleece, Over Fleece, hats, trousers and Jackets all with logos on the front and arm. We spent two days choosing from samples and debating over the logos. On November 9th we placed an order with a company in India, via there UK sales office for 100 sets.
On February 2nd they all arrived in Sheffield. Very smart they all look as well
The reason SISU have no stock is because they will not invest any money. End of story
A very good friend of mine works in the Sheff Wednesday Purchasing office. A Sheff Wed shirt is purchased for USD10 about £7 at todays exchange rate. They sell for on average £35.
Stop defending them RFU. There is no structure, management desire, purchasing function or business plan at CCFC. This is the reason, complete incompetence and a refusal to invest
This is why we have no ground, loan players and no shirts. People like you are gullible enough to believe their spin. Results and actions speak louder than words. End of !!!

It is a disgrace.

However on the flipside if you've already got one, it's low limited addition and will be worth a fortune in a few years

indeed. Wimbledon FC shirts on ebay with "crazy gang" logo go for a tidy sum on ebay.

Older CCFC shirts far. far better quality . I always buy my city stuff off ebay nowadays. Cheaper, better. Not going into SISU pockets more to the point.

Does any body on here know who RFC actually is? The weakness of his defences of any thing Sisu do wrong means he must be in their inner circle to some extent or is he just deluded? As for shirts and the club shop in general its a direct reflection of how the owners run the club, I would be very surprised if their is a change of shirt for next year as they will probably try to find the ones that got nicked and use them for next season.

Ribero (sp) were class.
I'm sure Richardson had to go to the factory where the kits were made to get some made up for the training kit when they went bust.

Is your other half pregnant and you're looking at the scan date chart instead? Or could it be completely different and this is how long a mail order bride takes from that region?

No one at the club has any sense at all. Look at us wearing last seasons away kit today, because no one had an ounce of sense when planning the colour of our away kit
