I make of that that the Football League would also not act as a broker for a deal between ACL and CCFC. Hence an offer made 'through the FL' would probably fall at the first hurdle.

The FL said they'd "press both sides". So they've at least shown they're willing to communicate to both parties.

At the very least it shows it's not about an affordable venue not being available in Coventry which is kind of the FLs entire justification for the move.
