Thanks for that OSB.anywhere between 0 and £27m apparently depending on your view point
You would be branded a SISU loverAm I right in thinking that anyone could have made the complaint? If so, what would have happened if I’d made the complaint and not Sisu? What then?
I read that and thought exactly the same. Not a good sign.Does this indicate making plans without CCFC on a longer term basis
Coventry to get these sports at the 2022 Commonwealth Games
I assume the EFL will kick off early that year also. Wasps are happy to make the venue available
Don’t think a lot of our fans see how potentially dangerous our ground issue is to the future of our club.Does this indicate making plans without CCFC on a longer term basis
Bit late now, people were saying that when it was sold to wasps.Don’t think a lot of our fans see how potentially dangerous our ground issue is to the future of our club.

I think they do. I don't really know what you want them to do about it?Don’t think a lot of our fans see how potentially dangerous our ground issue is to the future of our club.
St Andrews 5-10 years my guess
Hope you are wrong about that. If it goes beyond a second season, we will have to be doing really well on the pitch to offset the angst.
Exactly, we've had games moved to accommodate other events booked at the Ricoh after our fixtures have been published. No reason for events known about well in advance to be an issue. To be honest I’m sure they would even if we were tenants
Does the action stop when we leave the EU on 31 October ?
Oh I think we doDon’t think a lot of our fans see how potentially dangerous our ground issue is to the future of our club.

Good news for those hoping Wasps are struggling financially. If you recall ACL blamed hosting Olympic events and the requirements that came with that as a reason for poor performance that year.

We'll have our new stadium by then.that said looking at the dates i am not sure it is a big a problem as i thought it could be .......................27 July and 7 August 2022
I suspect the complaint would have been thrown out post-haste, as you wouldn't have engaged lawyers and experts to ensure it was precisely written. What would the excuse be then though? It wouldn’t be Sisus fault so how would it work?

If it's as easy as you say, why didn't SISU do that? Why did they go to the EU and make the complaint, knowing full well it would antagonise other parties? What if Sisu wrote it and I submitted it? It would be me making the complaint. What would wasps and the council say then?

Furthermore, why didn't they tell anybody they had made it, while negotiations were ongoing?
Well CCFC didn't know anything, so why would anyone else...?I find it difficult to believe neither ccc or wasps knew nothing until Gilbert said something.

Not really. He wanted more money from Sisu at the time. It wasnt to do with him having foresight of their potential failings. And what a wise man (on that issue!) he was...
Or are we believing that joy told him?
Telling that he preferred administration to a SISU deal. Not really. He wanted more money from Sisu at the time. It wasnt to do with him having foresight of their potential failings.
He wanted more money, they said no, deal was dead.

Strange decision but he must of had his reasons for it. There was a decent write up in the local Southampton rag a little while after about it. I'd look for it if I had time.Telling that he preferred administration to a SISU deal.
Of course with us they got it right and went to the Co-op, got them onside. Then they could control the process.
Would you not expect the Commenwealth Games to have similar branding and security requirements?Yes but what also happened for the olympic games is that the stadium was put on lock down for a week or perhaps two before the olympic games started so no other events could take place there in that period or during.

The thing is, there's plenty (in my view) to criticise the other parties for in all this.Well yeah, but what if Tim Fisher is made of bees and the bees are trying to save humanity from climate change and Brexit is an illuminati plot to steal babies?
What then, huh?
Checkmate atheists!!

But... this is no vacuum, it didn't just happen, catching SISU unawares.
Critical path.
This is why I’ve been resolute on this. Critical path required Sisu actions at each point: rent strike, Northampton, legal bollocks of various flavours. It has been within their gift at several points to choose a different course.
Getting wound up about some council nobody making a suggestion in an email once is the very definition of dead cat nonsense.
And, of course, as out owners they are the only ones who are actually supposed to be doing what’s best for CCFC above anyone else.
Anyway, back to sarcasm and apathy.
I first joined GMK when 'MrsDeanGordon' came on to ask how her husband played at the weekend.Do you think we'll miss talking about all this when it's all gone away!?
