Wasn’t Strachan their manager at the time? How come it was against Celtic?
How amazingly ‘horrible’ that 6000 of them turned up to pay at a testimonial for a coventry player… terrible bunch, every last one of themI remember one pissed up c**t walking down the stairs of the North Stand babbling some shit and giving it loads only to be met with a head butt from one of our lot.
I don’t really give a fuck about Celtic/Rangers but they were a horrible bunch that night and plenty of IRA songs were being sang.

to be fair, thats more competitive than most of their league gamesI parked by coaches from Glasgow and London you have to admire and respect fans who travel hundreds of miles for what’s basically a night match and a friendly.
They turned up to watch their club playing an English side. Let's not try and paint this as some form of altruism in support of Richard Shaw. How amazingly ‘horrible’ that 6000 of them turned up to pay at a testimonial for a coventry player… terrible bunch, every last one of them
You obviously regard someone headbutting a stranger as some sort of hero, so I think we can see where your moral compass is.They turned up to watch their club playing an English side. Let's not try and paint this as some form of altruism in support of Richard Shaw.
Not sure what you would classify as good and bad but I found pissed up people trying to pick fights with home supporters in the home end and singing pro-IRA songs in a city that had been targeted twice by the IRA kind of put me off that jovial bunch from north of the border.
Alright Joe Biden let's not make this political as you know fuck all about me and a number of people on here who do know me personally will know how laughable that comment is.You obviously regard someone headbutting a stranger as some sort of hero, so I think we can see where your moral compass is.
Let’s not paint 6000 who turn up to a mess about friendly testimonial as a uniform ‘horrible bunch’ eh. I’m sure Richard Shaw was happy enough.
I suspect this is more about your politics than anything else.
Yeah, incredible really that.I’m still amazed he somehow got called up to an England squad.
Richard Shaw?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!I’m still amazed he somehow got called up to an England squad.
Amazingly, yes!Richard Shaw?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!
Thornton also scored and looked the same. Disappeared soon after.I thought Liam Davis was going to be a superstar after his goal. Pretty sure he beat 2 or 3 defenders before scoring.
In his Palace days I think.Richard Shaw?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!
Well, I did not know that.Amazingly, yes!

I’m all for helping out grassroots football but both sets of fans are as bad as each other with their sectarianism.Totally agree. I despise them. I know where I was sat there was a loud rendition of Fuck the IRA thankfully.
Would much rather have swapped that testimonial for the preseason friendly at Ibrox that was behind closed doors because of Covid.
So, 1 coach from Glasgow and 1 from London the other 5,900 came from fuckin Coundon.I parked by coaches from Glasgow and London you have to admire and respect fans who travel hundreds of miles for what’s basically a night match and a friendly.
Yep-I’ll raise you Telfer getting a Scotland cap though.I’m still amazed he somehow got called up to an England squad.
