When we all talk about the Ricoh and the Telegraph says it, then there seems plenty of mention yes, but unfortunately that's mainly localised as compared to say several mentions during an afternoon on Gillette Soccer Saturday for example? There because of a football club, the name gets mentioned to a potential 16m audience over and over. If the club score a goal or concede a goal yet another live mention from the ground. It goes without saying that if the football club are not in place then the reason to sponsor is almost zero and therefore worthless to ACL. Once again they need the football club.
I'm watching the ATP tennis from Rome and last week from Madrid and all I saw constantly was Ricoh! Hardly think they care about sponsoring our stadium unless there is a football club in place. Perhaps the one thing they do have is thousands see it from the M6 but that's hardly going to help much.
