I said to them about last years prices and car park C not being quite in site and they told me they were advised on last years prices but have decided that's what there prices are.
Strange and not very popular choice that will shock a few car park C returning customers

Got mine for Car Park B during the week. They sent a pass that's like a tax disc. When I booked it, I asked about how to change the registration as we use different vehicles during the season, depends on who's driving. The guy on the phone wasn't sure (think he couldn't quite grasp why we would use different cars every other week..), so i asked him if i could change it via the same web site we used last year. he said yes... But, you cant, so going to be interesting this season with only one registration booked, when we arrive in a different car..

Oh, and we were never guaranteed a spot. Used to use Car park C, and turned up for one match and it was almost full, people paying "on the gate" had used up most of the "not booked" spaces. Had the same in car park B too when it was full. Thankfully, the guy on the barrier let us through to park in the cordoned off section the other side.

i had the same conversation and my chap told me i would have to ring customer service every week to change to relevant reg,to be honest a pain in the backside.
i also think the will soon have cameras in place like they do at service stations and retail parks and any anomalies you will get a fine i suspect it will cause a lot of aggro, thank you acl/wasps

What a nightmare if true, that was a decent system last year, you could just log on and add new vehicle reg if someone else drove instead. Seems a right faff, you can't even buy the bloody thing online let alone change car. A shit system, a shit service at shit over inflated price.

Quite so, fairly straightforward last season. We don't live far from the ground but health problems for both of us mean that we have to drive down and park now. If we pay the season upfront and then can't get in the car park, we will be well peed off. Car Park C is quite good for us if we park as far away from the entrance as possible and then just walk over the bridge.
Strikes me that with the big rise in our season tickets and the hike in the car park charges this season we are being priced out of the market. As City supporters and ST holders of over 50 years we will definitely think long and hard on what happens in the future, although it kills me to say it.

And its not even the club, its wasps/Ricoh that manage the car park and set the prices.

The other problem is now that cat park c is no cheaper, people will opt to park in a and b and those with health problems or elderly who haven't got a blue badge but struggle who used to pay a bit extra for thr priveledge of parking closer might not be able to.

It's wasps isn't it, outsourced to another company rather than ccfc?

Anyone know if St Finbars will still be open, halfway through last season it was dropped by the Ricoh but they policed it themselves?

Is there? Where? It proved a real pain last season.

Grendel, when I go up to the Ricoh, I use the RAOB on the Foleshill Road or Coventry Welsh Rugby Club. Both a 5 minute walk from the stadium.

This is true, I've opted to do so myself. No point in getting me and the lad soaked walking over the bridge when for the same price I can stay dry.
They really need to manage the parking better. Surly if you've brought a permit then your allocated a numbered bay.. Logical but I bet it's not done like it.

How easy is it to get out of Car Parks A and B though? Thought they used to keep you in the car park after a game until the majority of pedestrians are away from the ground? In Car Park C it was relatively straightforward getting out after the game, could be home by 5.30pm.

The few times I have used it I've had no trouble but I've not rushed to get out. Found car park C just as much of a pain to get out if I parked up the top near the bridge to be far.
