...... and previous seasons if I remember correctly.
I hazard a guess that more Cov RFC fans will attend Wasps matches than CCFC fans attend CovRFC games.
Wasps play on Sundays because that's when the majority of current and ex-STH requested to play. Of course, they may not still want Sunday once it's in Coventry, but that's why it was Sunday originally. It is useful for potentially getting on TV more though.
He also said there was no pr machine and it wasn't a franchise.TBF, Eastwood did say Wasps had a communications office (press office) phone numbers are very easy to find, it is here http://wasps.co.uk/the-club/contact-us

Good idea, make the football club play on Thursdays instead.
Give it a week and that'll come back round as someone saying they're sure they read that Wasps are going to make CCFC play on Thursdays. Wasps won't want to conflict with CRFC or CCFC.
Nuneaton RFC (or others in South warks) or Coventry RFC or if you were really bothered about PL rugby You'd have gone to Leicester Tigers years ago.
So in warwickshire which is your local football team? You 'support' COVENTRY CITY FC..,
That's down to the RFU setting the dates like the FA/FL set ours. Like us they have absolutely no say in when they play their games, WASPs only play on a Sunday because of the ground share (no clashes with Wycombes FL+Cup commitments) and to be on TV.
Honestly one of the dumbest questions I've seen on here.

No, they want to keep both under their thumb. Not in Wasps' interests for CRFC to emerge as a serious competitor, not in their interests to have CCFC strong enough to leave the Ricoh.

C'mon mate, it's less security because now the club will never have a chance to buy into the Ricoh streams, regardless of who owns them.
As for Wasps arrival meaning that we had to move back, I can't even begin to untwist that logic. I don't think anyone was aware of the Wasps deal until it was done - probably to stop CCFC/SISU interfering.
Wasps aren't in warwickshire either?? You keep going on about not being in coventry so not bothered about cov rugby yet get wet over wasps?
Can't say about CCFC, but CRFC will likely be stronger with Wasps around. It probably won't be enough for them to be threatening the premiership, but solid championship will definitely be the aim.
Got absolutely nothing to do with the fact they have been groundsharing with football teams which primarily play on Saturdays then?
I live less than a mile from the Ricoh so that has a huge bearing as I can just walk up.
Probably why I like a successful Ricoh on my doorstep.
It still isn't warwickshire though is it? Bedworth rfc would be a good shout for you then or keresley like you sayI live less than a mile from the Ricoh so that has a huge bearing as I can just walk up.

They were aware Duffer .
Byng was showing emails he knew around June 13th on the terraces @ Swindon IIRC.
If he knew SISU knew.
Would It be possible for the Brains on here to do another timeline on what we know and why we're back as I've said a few times I was told the FL forced us back .
Sounds Incredible doesn't It ,which Is why I want to debunk it.
They are no longer the principal rugby club in the city and with Wasps routinely siphoning off local talent a glass ceiling has been set. Be honest, Wasps have no desire to make CRFC as strong as you suggest.

Right now all that talent instead goes to Worcester Warriors, arguably earlier than it would go to Wasps, since they're in the Championship and will be at the bottom of the AP if they promote (not guaranteed). Should Wasps take over the region, then those players will remain at Coventry for longer as they will not be at the level that Wasps require them to be. Wasps will also be loaning players that aren't getting enough game time for Wasps. Again, the quality of player that Wasps will loan will be far higher than those coming from Worcestor. Wasps will absolutely want their 3rd string players getting some good game time in the championship, and the easiest way to achieve that is to help CRFC.
Shame you want that to happen with a franchised rugby team rather than your own city's football team.

So basically CRFC becomes Wasps reserve team, where players dip in and out to get games....

I wanted the club to get it, but fairly.
Sisu made sure the club lost out.
SISU made sure Wasps had a chance of getting it. You should be personally thanking Fisher and Seppala for helping your dream to come true.

All in their own interests and the current set-up is designed to marginalise smaller clubs like Cov. This isn't a rugby forum either so not interested in debating further but it's a bit like laying the new pitch-done primarily for Wasps' benefit with a PR bonus if it's also helpful for someone else. Also, as I said, there is no desire on Wasps' part for Cov to be the biggest club in the city, so this deal has seen the latter permanently relegated to being the junior club.
Are you a season ticket holder?
What a tragic person you really are. Feeling 'wanted' by a Rugby team which is desperately trying to market its new venture.
Pathetic pathetic man.
It's not really dip in and out, loan players tend to spend the entire season with the club, sometimes multiple seasons. But this is almost certainly happening already with Worcestor, except Worcester will be claiming those players earlier, and loaning players that aren't as good.
The current setup is an odd one, it can help clubs, and hinder them. Their players often get exposure to better coaching and facilities, but equally they can lose those players, since who's going to refuse and AP contract. Wasps being in Cov will make it harder for CRFC, but the reality is without a billionaire sugar daddy Cov weren't likely to make it anyway, and even having a billionaire sugar daddy isn't proving to be enough for Bristol. So yes, it'll be slightly harder for CRFC to reach the AP, but it'll be more likely they'll reach and survive in the championship. If they get that billionaire sugar daddy they'll probably just be able to build their own stadium.
Hence the
No, I live in Scotland.
Why do most posters on this thread sound like the sad drunk at a wedding with the "should have been me" attitude? We had our chance and blew it.
SISU have expected us to be good as gold and stupid as mud , blindly follow the team with our cash whilst they implement a strategy to .....i dunno.
Reading one of the other threads it seems that it was reported that we were only £32million down a hole when the arrived and what is it now reported as £70m?
Italias orignal post once again shines a light on the difference between the management styles. Crying and pointing that that have a PR machine and they are evil will get us nowhere.
Fact is that WASPs are actively trying to make a success of their business... have not seen any evidence in 7 years that SISU/CCFC have actively tried.
Brighton in Scotland, had some good times there.
