I suspect we do have targets lined up and the plan will be to appoint them ASAP after the Sunderland game. What I don’t get and I know I haven’t been the best positivity, but we won two games after scoring three goals and were three unbeaten.
Why now, seems so odd if we haven’t got someone lined up
Would bring great knowledge of the Scandinavian leagues as well. I could sure get behind that appointment. Now you're talking. His stats have got even better since the last time he was punted on here.
Does he have the clout/stones to tell a £9m Haji to pull his finger out is the question

We are a lot more attractive than we were then, also non uk coaches will look at us as a way of getting in to English football. We've always been assured that top quality managers would be applying. They'll only be applying if they're out of work. Enter Andy Thorn and Russell Slade.
I’m on Team Hornyland, decidedOut of all the options listed here, I’d take Carsley.
As much as I don’t think Frank is quite as bad as everyone is saying, I’d walk out into oncoming traffic if he ends up as manager.
I was mainly talking about the ones on the SkyBet list, but yeah I’d take him as well.I’m on Team Hornyland, decided
You could of the Barnet manager players modern brand of football and could go on to become elite thoughNot a fucking kids coach or lower league manager.
You can’t sack Robins cos “elite” “professional” “modern” then bring in the fucking Barnet manager FFS.
Are they in the betting? We've always been assured that top quality managers would be applying. They'll only be applying if they're out of work. Enter Andy Thorn and Russell Slade.
Not for me. I'd go continental not sentimental.Out of all the options listed here, I’d take Carsley.

If we had won last night I think King would have let the clock run bit longer even though our league form back from last season has been poor. He's not daft he knows how much the fans loved Robins and I don't think he would have taken the decision lightly. I do though as contingency think they may have been looking at alternatives for some time and it was the manner in way the we played and lost again that finished Robins.. Being blunt, yes we won against Luton ..after going 2 down and there was a fair portion of the game on Saturday where we looked second best against 10 men. What I don’t get and I know I haven’t been the best positivity, but we won two games after scoring three goals and were three unbeaten.

Millwall are flying especially when you see that have beaten Burnley and Leeds in those 4 wins.Just as a follow up to the above

Same guy who a few weeks ago said Robins was under zero pressure?Rudi
Look I haven’t backed as much as others but we are fourth in the form table. And while we had ten against Boro, that was due to our play and don’t think it detracts from the performance. If we had won last night I think King would have let the clock run bit longer even though our league form back from last season has been poor. Only time will tell if a new manager can turn it around but being honest I think Robins was running out of time and the form stats don't lie.
Yeah it’s fair. But to be fair this seems like madness from the club, who knows what’s happeningSame guy who a few weeks ago said Robins was under zero pressure?
He has done really well with the England U21s tbf. Wouldn’t of been my pick but think we could do much worseLee Fucking Carsley, another kids coach who failed as soon as he got to the coal face. Brilliant. May as well save the cash and keep Carr.

They're about the same, stop trying to pretend Lampard is in anyway a good manager. it's more weird than pretending block 11 is better than the corner.
Pure weirdo behaviour
keep telling yourself Lampard is a good manager
Again understand but it’s still experience working with Young squads and developing players and winning trophies.Coaching kids with zero pressure is nothing like a proper management job.
I’ll be right behind youOut of all the options listed here, I’d take Carsley.

Pitch invasion of the year with Everton in 2022What has frank lampard ever achieved as a manager ?
Bugger allWhat has frank lampard ever achieved as a manager ?
Someone in Twitter with decent links saying they think it’ll be Lee carlsey and won’t be Mark Bloomfield
No thanksRobbie Keane into 2nd favourite now.
Not to mention it wouldn't cost alot to hire him , a key point here reallyNothing of note, but I can see Doug going for this approach.
God no, no offence to the lad but he hardly came across as brightRobbie Keane into 2nd favourite now.
Yep. No experience of Club football. I hope he's nowhere near being appointed here.Lee Fucking Carsley, another kids coach who failed as soon as he got to the coal face. Brilliant. May as well save the cash and keep Carr.
Part of me is definitely thinking the thread title should probably be "Right, who's the manager after the next manager then?"
I think we may end up going through a stack of managers all over again.
i fear King might just do this. See him as a great appointment as he was England manager.Yep. No experience of Club football. I hope he's nowhere near being appointed here.
