Noooo. Think we will get someone who interviews well (see what they said about the new coaches).Frank Lampard now the 2/1 favourite on SkyBet...

I totally agree with you FF, points in your post I’ve argued myself on here, but I do see that potential candidates looking at City from the outside could be put off by how MR has been treated. He was given a lot of games to show improvement. He’s gone whether we like it or not. Yes, it would be great to hit the ground running. After all, it’s a results business.
The manager having full control is on its way out now though at most clubsYes, but that’s the extent of their involvement. And the manager has full say over everything football related in a normal club setup. But if you appoint people the manager can’t sack then you take responsibility over their areas of performance too.
When you’re a multimillion pound franchise that’s ticking along most seasons I can see the appeal of stability. When you’re a scrappy upcoming club punching above its weight ripping what’s working out and replacing it relies on you being able to pick better on average than what you’ve got.
Although I’d point out Pep is a manager, not a head coach.
Ultimately I don’t get why Robins gets seven years of results then 8 months is enough for him to go, but those brought in more recently don’t go first.
I accept Ghana don't have great players like in the past, but they were pretty shit when Boateng was there. Hence he was rejected for the managers job.Nobody think Boateng was brought in as a possible replacement? He’s had limited experience as a manager, but has held several roles as coach and even assistant manager for Ghana.
wouldn’t be my choice, but i could see it being an option being considered.
He is going back as youth Manager so still in a job..Carsley makes the most sense, top coach, ex player, lives local, soon to be out of work.
The manager having full control is on its way out now though at most clubs
And king sees robins as the issue not the new coaches clearly
Why? Because that's what happens at so many clubs and happened to us prior to Robins. Why? We kept the last one 7 years. If they are good why would we sack them after a few months
Clearly you ain't as anti sisu as you like to believe thenWell Kings an idiot and the fact we weren’t most clubs was until recently the best thing we had going for us.
Chelsea sack managers all the time and are fine. Why? Because that's what happens at so many clubs and happened to us prior to Robins.
It's not a stretch to believe that may well happen again.
You've answered your own question too. We kept the last one for 7 years.
That was a rarity, hence him being one of the longest serving managers on the game.
7 years is totally against the grain of the norm.
You’d love to be 10% as successful as King the idiot I’m sure …..Well Kings an idiot and the fact we weren’t most clubs was until recently the best thing we had going for us.
Brian Barry-Murphy would be interesting, been working at Man City U23's with Pep. Before anyone shouts "ohh what has he ever done?!" , I'm just putting it out there.. lol

Chelsea sack managers all the time and are fine.
It can also work.
Football is a business.Being successful in business doesn’t grant you super human powers in all fields.
If we go on a run with new manager of 10 wins ina. Row would you still say king is an idiot for sacking robins?Sisu were shit at everything off the pitch and uninvolved on it, Doug is shit at half the on pitch and half the off pitch stuff and frankly even the off pitch stuff he’s good at is mostly signing cheques.
I fancy Graham Potter or if we can go and get someone like Bilic
How? Chopping and changing managers can still work for a club overallYou've lost your mind.
I heard Dean Smith mentioned a few weeks ago
It can, yes. It's usually a merry go round though because it normally doesn't.Chelsea sack managers all the time and are fine.
It can also work.
Could be argued if we didn't sack so much we would have been relegated to league 1 far far earlierIt can, yes. It's usually a merry go round though because it normally doesn't.
