A fair few will have seen him play for us? Ex-players always go down well with fans. Kenilworth SB supporters can cadge a lift?I’m not necessarily disagreeing with you, but I don’t see how ex player & captain has any relevance at all
He at Lens a top tier French club same as others talking about Rosenior. Guys Potters not coming in either!Thank you I couldn’t remember that guys name but wouldn’t want him.
You have a cleaner????Great. Well just appoint my cleaner as manager. She runs a business too.
Is This the best pool we have to choose from? Depressing
Fuck. None of those are better than Robins. I'd have Selles or maybe Wagner, but the rest are fucking desperate.
No, it's just a list of bookies oddsIs This the best pool we have to choose from? Depressing
Rubén Sellés doing great things with no money at all.Ruben Sellars out of them names for me
This is actually what i came to question though. It seems to me MR knew the writing was on the wall. I believe in an interview around QPR game he mentioned these kind of results could cost him his job. So I bet Doug had been clear with him for a while where he stood, I do not think it came out of the blue to MR. Therefore I would find it unbelievable for Doug and board not to have put a lot of thought into succession planning over the last month or two. I’m sure they have their shortlist and may even had some initial meetings to sound people out.
We have an owner who has made it clear Premiership is goal, therefore the new manager/ head coach should be capable of buying into this plan. I was Robins in, at least for the remainder of this season, but we are where we are now and need to look forward and not back.
Clearly there are lots of capable managers that could do this job, if we believe MR was the only one then we are deluding ourselves,
Doing a great job at reading under extremely difficult circumstancesWhat are people seeing with Ruben Selles?
All considerably worse than the manager we have just sacked in my eyes.
Yes, that's why the game is quite often boring as fuckIsn't it just a bit of a reality though that most modern day managers / head coaches all try and play the exact same way anyway ?
I am not, and I repeat, not, going to be chanting Sergei Jakirovic's Sky Blue Army!!
Thats easy for you to sayI am not, and I repeat, not, going to be chanting Sergei Jakirovic's Sky Blue Army!!
..it's far more likely our new head coach isn't on that list.
Reading are in arguably a worse position than we were in, my mates a Reading fan and loves the bloke. Doing miracles to have them around the play offsWhat are people seeing with Ruben Selles?
tbf a pretty solid source said we've spoken to Wycombe about Bloomfield, and after that he's shit to odds-on favourite.
We will have money to spend even if it reduces the playing budget, there has to be something there. I have said that whilst the structure will remain, it doesn’t mean the people need to be the sameHopefully it is isn't a condition for a new manager that he has to adopt the coaching team. That will put better candidates off. However, the cost to replace them maybe too much for Doug to consider.
Ours are more volatile becuase we’re a small market. If me and my bro both put £20 on John Terry he’ll be odds on favouriteThat's the effect of the rumour. Rumour released, punters read it and place bets. Odds shorten.

What price Doug being the new manager? Possibly even player-manager.

Assume it would be Dean Austin, Claire, the forest COO advising with Doug having final decision. There isn’t a board as Doug King is the sole director.
This means that all important matters are his sole decision rather than a collective one. I do hope that, even though they aren’t directors, he has people around him with a good range of knowledge that he uses as sounding boards.
That's the profile of who we will get.One link with Alan Sheehan
