Yep Moyes would be mine but unrealistic.
friend works at wolves and apparently they’ve already spoken to Moyes and Potter should they sack O’Neil
Andy Morrel fan?We do this with so many players; laugh at them like they're useless - then all of a sudden they're not. I agree he doesn't look very technical, but he runs his nuts off, and though not a starter, I'll give anyone a chance who puts in a shift wearing our colours. Incidentally, I'm a big fan of Bassette by the way, and think he has loads of potential. despite his current lack of goals.
If I was King I’d be moving heaven and earth to get him
It may be unrealistic - not as much I suspect as Carsley or Van Nistelroy - but if he’d come Moyes would be totally top of my list. Hes a superior manager to robins - is down to earth and practical - if we can’t get him fair enough but ideally surely if who is not in work he’s the stand out candidate
I think all 3 would illicit some buzz surely? Ruud has the best rep to baggage ratio probably. Lampard is up there with all time great Prem players probably.. but question marks over his management.looking at it from the players point, who would they be more looking forward to coming in, “ right lads its the wycombe manager “ or “ lads this is rudd Van nistleroy” imagine the buzz around the training ground if he got it, thats what we need, and his CV isn‘t bad either, just think lampard and carsley wouldnt have the same impact ?
I do like moyes but I feel like he's a manager that I'd want if we were trying to stay in the Premier league , not get thereWas the 11th best paid manager in the world (Inc International managers) at the time when at Everton and won nothing.
Did well at West Ham to be fair.
Wizard's sleeve. That doesn't just apply to Lampard does it? Replacing Robins is a massive gamble by King, unless he's got a major coup up his sleeve.
That explains the long face.Ruud looks like a horse, Lampard looks like a Donkey.
Thank God you're not - not only linked to your recommendations to appoint a dream team of Moyes and Jackett (fcuking hell) - but for a million other reasons. If I was King I’d be moving heaven and earth to get him
That's fine. I only have 80 years left to live.According to the climate change fanatics, the water levels will rise so much that Kent will be underwater.
Get yourself a boat to live in before it's too late.
Are you posting from a cryogenic chamber? That's fine. I only have 80 years left to live.
Moyes would be a great appointment for us, if you don’t see that you’re pretty cluelessThank God you're not - not only linked to your recommendations to appoint a dream team of Moyes and Jackett (fcuking hell) - but for a million other reasons.
i meant as players. The foriegn lads wouldnt really know alot about carsley, midfielders would love lampard, but they all know what RVNs done, just think they‘d give a little bit more trying to impress him,I think all 3 would illicit some buzz surely? Ruud has the best rep to baggage ratio probably. Lampard is up there with all time great Prem players probably.. but question marks over his management.
You can't really sniff at Carsley great career, won the U21s euros and he has led England (interim admittedly) but he's got a big profile off it.
If I was King I’d be moving heaven and earth to get him
The guy who won a European trophy with West Ham in his most recent job?The guy who finished rock bottom of the Premier League with Sunderland, after trying to get Real Sociedad relagated, and embarissing himself at Man Utd?
Isn't Moyes more in the manager than head coach role though? It may be unrealistic - not as much I suspect as Carsley or Van Nistelroy - but if he’d come Moyes would be totally top of my list. Hes a superior manager to robins - is down to earth and practical - if we can’t get him fair enough but ideally surely if who is not in work he’s the stand out candidate

You’re just having a pop because it’s Grendel, so you wouldn’t go for Moyes if that were an option?Thank God you're not - not only linked to your recommendations to appoint a dream team of Moyes and Jackett (fcuking hell) - but for a million other reasons.
The guy who won a European trophy with West Ham in his most recent job?
Moyes would certainly be a far more solid choice than most of the names mentioned. But isn't he more of a manager than the elite 'head coach' King seems to want?It may be unrealistic - not as much I suspect as Carsley or Van Nistelroy - but if he’d come Moyes would be totally top of my list. Hes a superior manager to robins - is down to earth and practical - if we can’t get him fair enough but ideally surely if who is not in work he’s the stand out candidate
It's pointless discussing Moyes. May as well add Klopp into the conversation.
Van Nistelrooy applies for vacant EFL job immediately after Man United exit
Is this more legitimate or just rumour...?
Very difficult to prove who’s applied for a manager’s job, which makes it the perfect fodder for rumours. Unless this YouTuber has a direct contact with Van Nistelrooy (or his agent etc) then I don’t see how they could know it for sure - given that this kid doesn’t have any kind of track record for breaking stories then I find it very hard to believe.Every media outlet has jumped on the rumour started by some Man U fan outlet.
Doug King has no cash to splash except that generated from the Club.It is almost surreal that we seem to be fishing in a pond of household names for our head coach, none of whom will come cheap, yet Doug King is getting stick from some.
Don’t get me wrong. I think he sacked MR too soon and the fact that some of the candidates are household names doesn’t guarantee that they will be a great coach for us. It does show however that DK is thinking big, is ambitious and is prepared to splash the cash to try and get us someone good. Surely he deserves credit for that.
Doug King has no cash to splash except that generated from the Club.
No, from the Afterlife Grand HotelAre you posting from a cryogenic chamber?
