He was sacked after they where allow to buy players, spent a fortune, was shit, got sacked and then watch Tuchel win the Champions League with the same players he failed with.

Tuchel is a truly world class manager and was perfect to jump in with that job.

I know it's only punditry but I thought Lampard was excellent in his knowledge and explanations during the Euros.

Great, he's a good pundit but as proven a shite manager.

Get him in to replace oggy.

Anyway the club are saying it may take a while for a new guy to come in so they seem to not be close to appointing someone so as I said ignore the betting odds this early.

Not as mad as you think.....

To be fair, he left with a good reputation and for a better offer. And is the only one I think that might entice fans into thinking ‘that’s not a bad shout’. As long as it paid off of course.

Although, currently assistant head coach in America (I think?). Which is a much better location than Coventry 🤣

Club legends should not come back to be manager.
Look how it worked out for Gary McCallister

leave legend status at player level for me
Outside of his club status, he’s actually rated. Has managed Maccabi Tel Aviv and won a league and cup double.

would fit into the current structure, and more importantly his status would afford him time.

id also throw out Anthony Barry, but he’s just became England Assistant Manager so unlikely
