Tragic

Honestly is doug impressed with his 16th placed finish last season or his dismal spell at Colchester?

Fees awfully like years ago this does
I have a feeling we'll be one of those new manager every 12/18 months clubs until Doug finally fucks off.

In fairness that is pretty much every club. We were the exception

You get someone who can work well in this kind of set up with these kinds of players. Doug’s job to find that person and I do not back him to do it correctly.

Only one man I want to see having complete power of those spineless runts of players

I wouldn’t be surprised if we end up with a younger continental manager or even a well known continental manager - I think the club carries more weight than people give us credit for.

Surely even DK's not daft enough to think the Wycombe manager will be able to dictate to £5m players how they should play when they wouldn't do it for someone with Viveash' pedigree (allegedly)

I’d rather that than some of the names on that odds list

I'd rather we look to Europe than Bloomfield. Yes Wycombe are top of the table but his tactics and style of play doesn't stand out to me at all.

Only just catching up with this link, and can’t say I know of his work but then I don’t think I will know of anyone’s work that we ultimately bring in.

Can’t see it being any of the household names from the early bookies list

Rather that than the usual turgid no marks like Lampard, etc.

Can imagine we'll have some high calibre coaches interested, just got to hope they make the right decision, would not suprise me to see the club go for a younger European manager, seems the trend atm and working too

Whoever it is we have to put the frustration aside and give them our backing, I know who I want and I don't want but we have to give whoever it may be a chance

We can be frustrated but supportive at the same time

Yes. This mess isn’t the new managers fault.

Any games until then though I’m happy for all involved to get it with both barrels from the supporters

It is a trend and I think King had that in mind when MR was sacked. Think he'd rather have a Marco than a Mark.

yeah..... let's not do that. I'd rather we picked up a few points in the interim.

And those responsible just get an easy ride?

You’re probably correct in what you say. But I’m very angry right now with what has happened

Carsley is the only name that makes sense. Potential that the decision was made before Luton with only a small window of opportunity. If it is some kid from Wycombe surely you give Robins the Sunderland game?

Bloomfield has a few good months at a lower level - rest is mid-table results. Doesn't feel like that is good enough.

I know Stoke are a basket-case but Schumacher won League One with Plymouth (ahead of Ipswich) and got them looking good in this league - and he failed.

Seems like going for the flavour of the month.
