Well I'm not sure that would be worth sacking Robins for
He's not coming back.

I also think Lampard might have the best chance of hitting the ground running, his profile should mean he gets the respect of the players from day 1, someone like Bloomfield might have some skepticism directed at him.

Hold on , surely you want more than a fun 6 months based on how much you banged for him to be gone ?

We need progression not fun

Currently my preferences are looking like this

Unknown young foreign coach > Frank Lampard > Established Championship level coach > Matt Bloomfield > Lee Carsley > Any other lower league English coach > Rhys Carr
After the loss of Mark Robins, your top choice is 'unknown young foreign coach'? I hope our Doug has a more robust plan (although I'm not confident).

I think Lampard has a chance of working out, but if it doesn't then at least it will be entertaining, that's what I'm saying.

By unknown foreign coach I mean someone in the mould of Thomas Frank, Regis Le Bris, Iraola, Hurzeler.

It's such a long shot to find one who'll have a big impact though. And what are the advantages of them being foreign?
I think most foreign (european) leagues are generally a better place for developing the skills needed to be a head coach/manager than league one and two.

He took over a team and ethos built by Nathan Jones to be fair. Did well to get them up (just) to the Premier League, Relegated (in the end quite easily) and is now in freefall.

So assuming toms right. We’ve got 4/5 others on our list outside of Lampard and if someone stands out could imagine it could be sorted mid week?

Just seen this list minus Wycombe’s boss as would assume we would have heard something, could this be the options?

I think even people saying they don't want Lampard would end up being quite excited about it. He is a big name, and that would definitely help take the deck 😉 forward ..

But if robins problem with coaching setup was that there's no tactician, is Lampard the man to fill thst viod? And I though its impossible to get a no. 2???????

No idea if he's reliable but he has 143k followers

United Stand? That's Goldbridge's little gig.

Might have some weight to it potentially.
