I have said it before and I am sure I will say it again, but they are all a load of grade A w*nkers, SISU, ACL the Council, Local Mps etc the lot of them.

They all pretend they have the club at heart but not one of them, not one, has done anything in the interests of the club or the fans. Ann Lucas particularly seems to be the Fisher of the Council world..

This is our club, not theirs, and they are all culpable in its terminal decline. They should hang their heads in shame, but having no conscience or shred of decency I doubt they will.

Someone ought to put them all in a room, lock the door and throw away the key, the self centered, posturing, shit heads that they all are.

Confirmed that the 19.5m is for the council's 50% share.

Does this mean that maybe Sisu could purchase the remaining 50% Higgs share if they wanted?

It seems no contract has been signed yet so I don't see why not.

Said on the bbc midlands to day

£5.5m - Higgs
£1m to extend the lease to 250 years
£14m loan

That's the £19.5m

If it all goes Pete tong for the sky blues in this clusterfk, you know what to do in the next local elections

Ermmm.. as it was a unanimous vote, Labour & Tory voted for sale, I'm not sure what you mean?

Can't blame the Higgs for accepting as that £6.5m has been a burden on the charity ever since they spent it however the Council are a very different kettle of fish. Although resident in Scotland I am still eligible to vote in Coventry (permanent address rather than term-time) and have decided to forfeit any votes for Labour candidates in council or general elections. The Tories went for it as well so they're not getting it either, but their decision to accept didn't surprise me whatsoever. Real Labour politicians would not have accepted this bid and for that reason they have lost my support.

Future for the club now has to be in either persuading Wasps to give up a share of the spoils (never going to happen) or indeed in building a new ground elsewhere in/around the city. Very disappointing.
