Rivals / Disliked Clubs (1 Viewer)

With the ever ongoing discussions over who is our biggest rival (Leicester or Villa), thought it may be interesting to see who is considered by the majority as our biggest rival and if there were any other teams that were generally disliked.

So, list the 5 clubs that you dislike the most, feel free to give reasons to support your argument. Here are my choices:

1. Villa - As an 80's baby Villa were my first experience of a local derby and although we haven't played them for 11 years still see them as our number 1 rival.

2. Leicester - Didn't really come onto my radar until we were relegated. I feel that the more we play them the bigger this rivalry is getting from both sides. Could overtake Villa if we continue to play them more regularly. With them also being a 1 team city they are a more natural rival for us.

3. Sunderland - This is a new one for me, but since they came on here a few weeks ago shooting their mouths off I have developed a real dislike for them. I even considered moving them further up the list.

4. Milwall - Always hated them. Horrible club. Horrible fans. Don't think anyone, other than Milwall fans, can possibly like them.

5. Cardiff - Similar reasons to Milwall, plus they are Welsh and in my opinion shouldn't be playing in the English leagues when they have their own league system.

Honourable mentions go to Leeds, Birmingham City, Liverpool, Portsmouth & Luton who could all potentially have made the bottom 2 of my 5 if Milwall & Cardiff were not so awful.

Keep it fun - remember these are peoples personal opinions so no-one should be shot down as being wrong!!!!

I hate dirty Leeds

Leicester their fans were quite all match at the start of the season then celebrated like they won the world cup when they scored with their only shot of the day. They copied Man City doing the Pozman (very original). Also the whole administration thing

Cardiff, Half of their fans when they last came to the Ricoh stayed under the stand at the bar they had no interest in the football. That particualr element of their fan base are there for one reason only

Portmouth (scared to talk about this for the fear of someone sending me a wanker sign) but I was absolutely disgusted by some of their fans clambering over disabled supporters to attack us at Highfield Road. Also cant stand that Pompey Bells bloke.

Birmingham again they have a high proportion of thugs always seems to be a nasty atmosphere when they are in town.

Villa - relegating us. Plus they are always moaning and never happy.

Who said that? I merely said that I thought they should be playing in a Welsh league. I don't see how saying a Welsh team should be playing in a Welsh league is racist.

YOU REALLY SHOULD THINK & READ PROPERLY BEFORE ACCUSING SOMEONE OF SOMETHING LIKE THAT.

Leeds - Dirty Leeds of the 70's and some of their knobhead fans.

Wolves - The first rivals I was aware of in the 1960's.

Sunderland - As has been said above. Never bothered me before until a few weeks ago and I can't believe they still hold a grudge to this day. They came on here and made their own urban legends about what actually happened too, which was so far removed from the truth.

Cardiff - Shouldn't be in our league, again as stated. Always singing anti English songs too on their travels.

Ohh yes, forogt about Millwall.

They still have a fair few scummy fans. Hull City too. Always recall that time around the 7/7 London bombings when they teased the QPR fans about being a town full of bombers.

Lovely stuff. :facepalm::facepalm:

Il throw Man Utd in there as growing up with many glory fans who have never been to a game it gives me a good laugh when they lose and these "fans" disappear for a week until the next victory...

My comment on Cardiff was purely based on their hooligan element so I presume you were not responding to me. I take it you are aware that they have a massive hooligan problem?

I think he was referring to me saying they should play in the Welsh league. He still hasn't explained to my why that is racist.

They had a hooligan problem, they no longer have one. Plus I prefer those type of people to half the saps that go to watch football.

Hmm, not strictly true - it was pretty noisy in our end. Besides, let's not forget Clingan missed a good chance handed to him by Mills ;)
They copied Man City doing the Pozman (very original).
Again, not strictly true. The irritating backs-to-the-game bollocks was started by a small number of educationally subnormal divs some months before Man City even played Lech Poznan.
Also the whole administration thing
Yeah, we were the first, last and only club to ever go into admin. We did it just for the purposes of cheating. All the fans were in on it.

On a serious note, though, I know several people who ended up getting screwed over. One who shall remain unnamed was still supplying them up until a couple of years back and routinely had their pants down on pretty much everything he sold them.

Anyway, to answer the question, it's close but:
1. You lot (local annoyance)
2. Treescum (we only hate Derby... we won the European Cup you know)
3. Sheep (we only hate Forest, honest)
4. L**ds ("European Champions")
5. Hard to pick between Chelski, West Aaaaam, Millwall, sportsdirect.com FC, Liverpool, Peterbore, Pompey (all for the same reason - large proportion of horrible, scumbag fans) and MkDonalds (the new soccerball franchise).

My List :

1. The ‘Hare & Hounds’ Sunday football team.
When I played numerous seasons on Sundays at the Coventry Colliery these were our BIGGEST rivals…
Even though they were our drinking buddies too it was hatred and nasty when we played each other.
I hate that team with a passion!! :grrrr
Good times…:D

2. Villa – My golfing mate is a Villa fan and I hate them to p*ss him off!! Haha..

3. Chelsea – The most boring football side I’ve ever watched.
They suck the life out of games with their slow, irratating football and I hate them for it...... oh..and my mate is a plastic Chelsea fan from Mansfield…

4. Peterborough – My ‘other’ team Northampton Town’s main rivals – so naturally I hate them!! :D

5. Barcelona – So good, I hate them too.... all this fancy 65 passes before a goal grates me..... somebody kick them for ****'s sake!! (If you can )

No other team bothers me really. Never has done, not even in my younger days. Can't be doignwith all the childish Vile and In ester nonsense. However, I dislike certain people. For example I've always disliked Gary Meson ever since he injured Dean Emerson on that snowy day. Also dislike Strachan, Ian Holloway and Nigel Pearson.

Nothing to do with Leicester. I just hate when managers drop teams in it and move on a whim like Pearson. He left Leicester and then was back five minutes later.

He was forced out by that lunatic Mandaric and his idiot sidekick. His exit from Hull was done properly. It was unfortunate for them but, y'know... f**k 'em. It's Hull.

1) Villa- as I said before living in eastern green, the distance to villa park isn't much further than the ricoh.
2) Brum- have many many friends supporting these. Horrible club also!
3) Leicester- just the fact some have jumped on the M69 derby bandwagon.
4) Sunderland- Mainly because recently we have heard that they still see us as one of their big rivals!
5) Wolves- still a big rival, also have relatives nearby.

Villa
Leicester
Wolves
Birmingham
West Ham/Millwall
Any of the glory hunted teams.

Dont care what any pathetic villa fan or bore says,i will always hate shitty villa, regardless if we dont play them again, the games at HR and VP were brilliant and everybody forgets all the fighting outside the villa ground and back to new street that day they relegated us.
Leicester come a close 2nd,whether people like it or not, they are our main rivalry now.
Hate wolves/west ham/millwall on a personal note and Im not really bothered about Small heath but still dislike them.
Dont understand why everyone keeps nitpicking as to who people can and cant hate, surely people should want their team to be the top club in the region and beat all the other local teams?!?!
