Which is more appealing?
Agree with Sick Boy, can't see the 10 points that currently divide the 3 teams being the major deciding factor. If he's looking to the long term he'll be looking at future ambitions, stability of the club etc... Say what you want about King but vs Wednesdays and Blackburns owners i know who i'd rather have.

The hope would be, joining us he would be closer to home in London. Might be promised first team assurances which he might not get at clubs higher up the table. And weirdly less expectation due to the position at the club allowing him to be more relaxed considering he hasn’t played football in a couple years.

Also would hope Lampard might have a pull but both teams mentioned have highly regarded EFL managers

He'd be a quality signing and anyone saying otherwise ain't got a clue.

Literally back up to Saliba and Gabriel a few seasons ago. And people are saying he's not got the pedigree to play in the team instead of someone like latibeaudiere.

Honestly has fans we have to remember who we are and where we've come from. Two years ago we had Dabo filling in at CB ffs

Have to laugh at people on here, Twitter and Facebook. No matter which name is mentioned, someone will come out and say they're shit, or not good enough, too old, too young or - my personal favourite - "not what we need at the moment". They're suddenly experts on this particular players' career, their attitude, injury record...and it goes on and on.

I'm all for giving someone a chance.

I actually think he'd be quality, and probably captain material, which would free up Sheaf to concentrate on passing to a team mate occasionally.

An experienced head will calm some of the younger players down and organise things defensively, which Dovin doesn't do as yet.

Yes, but can you see him holding down a regular place here?

He will be miles better than what we have currently and just his experience will improve the defence no end.

The problem is, he has had a fall out with his manager, hasn't played in the last 12+ months and is on massive wages.

I wouldn't be against a loan but we shouldn't be signing him permanently at this time.

Added on to that, if Thomas or Kitching has 6 months playing alongside a PL experienced defender. They will be much better for it next season, so we may not even need him.

But he’s not as shit as what we’ve got 😉 ex arsenal, crystal palace, it’s a step up from, Barnsley, Huddersfield and Peterborough, Which means he won’t be coming to us, far to good for us
