We have 3 centre forwards, 4 if you included Wright. But we have also signed a load of wide attacking players.

Not sure how we make it work
3-4-3 / 3-4-2-1

If you want a bit more width or pace in a particular match or are really chasing a match then swap in BTA/Wright/EMC for Saka and Rudoni and push them wider of the centre forward into more of a winger position.

In reality, there won't a great deal that could be juggled with the starting line up. We have limited fully fit midfielders and Tats isn't exactly ready for a fulll comeback yet either. Other than swapping EMC for Wright, jds for Bidwell. Kitchin for Binks nd Wilson or Dovin (all like for like) there wasn't a great deal of game changing possibilities other than 2 up front
Send them on another holiday, gear them up for some more half arsed defeats in the next few weeks.

I’m not in the Robins out camp, but we’re not getting anything at Leeds next week and I believe that the two home fixtures against Blackburn and Shef Wednesday before the international break could be instrumental with regards to MR future.

Could make the first eleven work but would be difficult for EMC and Saka to get much game time.

Might be worth a go soon though, we need to try something. Maybe against Leeds.

These pre-planned substitutions need to stop. Change it based on the game. I agree with Nick, we were chasing the game so should have gone two up top
I don't think he knows how to base it on the game. Same as the ones in the week.

When Torp came on at least he tried to get players in the right positions and was giving instructions. Not sure many of them were taking much notice.

more width? BTA? are you serious.
he was far too narrow today. and was 100% responsible for their 2nd goal.
and the rest of the team knew it. they gave him a right earful.

and why the fuck didn't he shoot with his left foot when he was through on goal? he decided to try and get the ball on his right foot despite a player being right on his shoulder.
shoot, you fucking idiot.

no idea why we bought him. total waste of time.

Why do people default to blaming Managers and coaches?

The people responsible for that lack lustre and clueless performance were the players.

Who we're told by the manager they have to be rotated no matter what?
They weren't today. He kept faith with Wednesday s performance. The subs when they came on offered nothing. If anything we got worse.

Tbf I get the sentiment of starting the same team that gave an absolutely brilliant performance against Spurs, the players just didn’t perform one bit and were clearly knackered so I don’t think Robins is completely to blame.

What I don’t understand is making 0 changes to the line-up and bring in attacking players that weren’t knackered to begin with. Also, making like-for-like changes and late substitutions when it’s clearly not working does absolutely nothing. Robins is a good manager and knows how to handle players egos well, he never seems to be too aggressive or too quiet, he’s just not proactive enough with line-ups, system changes or substitutions.

I've been a Robins fan for a long time, and he's given us some of the best days as Cov fans... but I reckon he's got four games before Doug acts. I think he knows that too because he seemed more animated than usual
Can’t argue with that. No outside excuses this time around , this is just poor football

What? Midtable?
we've started shit for the last 3 seasons, havent had a leader since mcfadzean, simms and wright scored combined 40 goals last season, only change is that we lost callum. give BTA, EMC, rudi, bassette time to settle in, get the correct team running and itll come good.

people will say we've lost kelly (ijured for weeks/months at the end of last season) and palmer, but i dont see that as an issue.

get sheaf fit, get saka fit, get the right team selection in and itll be firing.

yes its shit not to be winning, but the season is long, relax.

After 10 minutes I could see their left hand side was given free reign! BTA was not covering and should have been told or bought SAKA on. When Robbins said they don't listen to him in his interview I think this was prime reason for that statement. I don't like BTA starting games and should be used as an impact sub, The baggies never started him as far as I can remember. If we had blocked up that channel they would never have scored at least one of their goals
