The last paragraph I completely agree with and is what I’ve been saying, we need a more tactically astute more progressive modern approachWith a heavy heart but I’m sorry but that’s enough.
Robins been brilliant for our rise through the lower leagues but this is a step too far from him now. It’s sad to seem him struggle like this with the so called most expensive squad ever.
He clearly can’t get this squad to get results. Tactically he’s all over the place and yes some players need to step up, but it’s up to the manager to motivate them. They’re not listening to him and that is a huge warning.
People don’t want to include last season but the reality is apart from that FA cup run the 2nd half of last season was average. Our play off season was built on 2 superstar players in Vik and Gus with the crux of an old school type of squad.
Our home form and CBS was meant to be our fortress. Now teams can come here for an easy 3 points.
Mark’s interview just now is repetition of other poor performances. He can’t say we’re a good team if we keep losing like this. He’s making bizarre team selections especially at the back. Kitching and Wilson for example shouldn’t be anywhere near the team. In the end he threw them all under the bus anyway.
Maybe these players aren’t as good as we thought they would be but they should be collectively doing better.
Buck stops with him, he’s too stubborn to change things with formation or go change it up positively. We are so predictable opposition mangers must be laughing. There’s a danger this turns into a horrendous season. We should be improving game on game, not getting worse.
Time for a change in my opinion and this isn’t for people to have a go at each other, but we won’t see the next step change on the pitch without a fresher, more tactically astute manager.
Not saying I don't disagree with many of your points, but before we get reactionary, who do you want and do you think they'll get a better tune out if the squad as there are very limited funds or scope to change things.
With respect, its not up to fans to figure out.Not saying I don't disagree with many of your points, but before we get reactionary, who do you want and do you think they'll get a better tune out if the squad as there are very limited funds or scope to change things.

Yup. Exactly. Not saying I don't disagree with many of your points, but before we get reactionary, who do you want and do you think they'll get a better tune out if the squad as there are very limited funds or scope to change things.
Someone who can motivate them better .Yup. Exactly.
If the squad isn't good enough (and we are clearly short in midfield), I can't see a new manager being able to do anything different. It will be square pegs in round holes and we will still have a midfield deficiency.
And who are we going to bring in, in defence to stop the leaking of goals?
It will still be the same players.
How do you know that they are garbage though?I don’t want him gone. Everyone Doug has brought in has been garbage and Robins going will just be more of that.
Things need to change though. New faces in the dressing room at least. We keep having one game looking bright, then abject shite the next. Robins strength has always been a high base performance level.

There will be plenty who will fancy the job. It's a squad assembled with money spent.
I don't think Doug would be willing to pay anything more than Robins is earning now.
I’d have zero faith in King to find a replacement.I don’t want him gone. Everyone Doug has brought in has been garbage and Robins going will just be more of that.

Dean Austin surely?
No I’m not. I swear he’s just the head of recruitment, so surely he’s accountable?I'm not privy to the set up so I've no idea.
The players mentality is weak as piss. I don’t care if they are nice people. Would rather have a few nasty cunts who get in the oppositions faces, like Luke O’Nien for exampleWe've got a group of mentally weak players.
Whoever is responsible for bringing them in has questions to answer.
Our form is horrendous, as said above basically from Wolves in the cup to now. I feel like we're burying our heads in the sand a bit with regards to Robins, its form that could see us relegated if its allowed to continue and that simply can't be allow to happen.I don’t want him gone. Everyone Doug has brought in has been garbage and Robins going will just be more of that.

He's already got his excuse in that players are away on international duty.
For me, we have to win against Preston (or at least an amazing performance) else time is up.
I just don’t think Robins is the main issue.
Tactically we’ve been an absolute mess all season. That’s the managers responsibility.I just don’t think Robins is the main issue.
If that happens then it's time.We rarely beat Preston and a defeat will likely have us in the bottom 3.
I know I’m bedwetting but I can’t disagree with any of this. With a heavy heart but I’m sorry but that’s enough.

Why give it 2 more weeks? If that happens then it's time.
Why give it 2 more weeks?
Zetec?I had a cracking Ford Fiesta that got me through for years. Don’t worry that the wheels fell off and it failed its MOT.
Stick with it
Yeah next month is probably a good guessTrue, isn't there another international break next month?
Its too soon right now for this one and a new manager I think. The next one would give a new manager time
I think if it doesn’t happen tonight (and I don’t think it will) then it would have to be the next international break. Not only that, we would need someone lined up so we could get them and staff blended in asap.True, isn't there another international break next month?
