Anyone who thinks Robins could be on the way out anytime soon is completely deluded. May as well rip up your season tickets now, because your in for severe disappointment if you want him gone.

Who would you pick as captain instead? Genuinely, I don’t see any other obvious choices unless you want to burden Josh Eccles with more responsibility. And he looks like someone carrying the world on his shoulders at the moment.Sheaf is an extremely poor captain. When you have a player like him being club captain it isn't a surprise that we stand weak in the grand scheme of things.
It's fucking laughable that some of the cucks on here were quoting him as worth 25 million and Premier League bound. The most overrated player I've seen at the club for a long time. Today a shining example. Pathetic really.
I don’t hate any player, I just don’t rate him.Nonsense. You hate Wilson and it clouds your judgement.
Didn’t you say the same about Jacob Murphy?Sheaf is an extremely poor captain. When you have a player like him being club captain it isn't a surprise that we stand weak in the grand scheme of things.

Ffs what we going back to league 2 then ,clownThe journey back to where he found us

I think both Robins and the recruitment team know/knew we needed players with experience. It’s tiresome our signings taking a season to get up to speeds. I mean, for what we’ve spent we should be getting some players that slot in and start putting in some performances from the off.
We needed experience you’re absolutely right, we failed to get that in, that’s on the recruitment team and robins. The manager would have fed to the recruitment team what we needed.
We need some fresh eyes at the club, things are stale. Some big calls need to be made immanently.
Who would pay? …hold on a minute.Chris hughton was at the Game today ? love robins and I’ll back him to the last but I think even he’s struggling to get something out of this team
Bring Houghton in as MR assistant.Who would pay? …hold on a minute.
rubbish

To primarily assess our defensive personal & develop a strategy from the available crop for error free defending. A plan !
I don’t see any leaders. Kitching was Captain at Barnsley yet shows no leadership qualities whatsoeverI would pick Jacob Murphy as captain.
In all seriousness, I mean this is the problem, how many leaders have we got? I look at the team and don't see many players I would want to back me up in a scrap, or guide us through a tough spell in a game. We are so weak.
I think people are fed up with the excuses now, there were always reasons why we might underachieve, pitch, squad depth tiredness etc etc
There are no excuses now, the slow starts are unacceptable with the money we’ve spent. The pitch is great, we’ve built a squad and got the depth he was asking for. I think most people who know abit about the game know that we’ve regressed, despite spending what we have.

Yesterday I saw 11 players all hoping for someone to step up and lead for them. Including Sheaf who seemed to disappear for large spells.I don’t see any leaders. Kitching was Captain at Barnsley yet shows no leadership qualities whatsoever
Is it time to get doyler back as number two we need a nasty bastard to get these players performing

I’m finding it hard to like any of our players apart from Eccles. He looks like he gives a fuck, the rest just hide when the going gets tough. Something drastic needs to change whether it’s Robins changing their mindsets or someone elseMaybe it's hard to show leadership when you're playing at a level you're finding it difficult at.
Or maybe it's just because he's a prick as others have alluded to.
Eccles is the only player that doesn’t hide. The rest go into hiding when they don’t get their own way. We have paid money for a group of players with a weak mentalityYesterday I saw 11 players all hoping for someone to step up and lead for them. Including Sheaf who seemed to disappear for large spells.

I’m not seeing any leadership from Sheaf and I don’t see a captain in anyone elseIt’s questionable if Sheaf really is a leader. We’re in a situation where we have no leaders in the squad.
Yes I’d take back my comment, 10 players hiding and Eccles trying to carry several around him.Eccles is the only player that doesn’t hide. The rest go into hiding when they don’t get their own way. We have paid money for a group of players with a weak mentality

On yesterday’s evidence he disappeared when he needed to set an example for the others. Though aside from Eccles who else do you give the armband to?It’s questionable if Sheaf really is a leader. We’re in a situation where we have no leaders in the squad.
It pisses me off that professional footballers don't have the right mindset! What the fuck is wrong with them?
But clearly mentality is a huge issue.
I see it in games, if things don’t go their own way they start arguing amongst themselves. Apart from Eccles, no one else seems prepared to roll their sleeves up and fight their way back into it. As soon as Wednesday equalised we all knew the script. There seems to be a complete breakdown of communication between the players. It pisses me off that professional footballers don't have the right mindset! What the fuck is wrong with them?

Recruiting only young prospects has left the team imbalanced not only in terms of positions but also experience.
The centre halves are terribleThis spent £45m really is nonsense. It suggests we’re just stockpiling talent. Players have gone out as well as come in. My reading of it is that we’ve made one recruitment error - Torp. But that’s the one we really needed to work.
