With the greatest respect Pete you didn't change a thing. Commendable for trying but as I've said to you before it's fruitless conversing with SISU on the big picture stuff. I have close contacts who are major sponsors/boardroom members who have tried in the past and I've said the exact same to them. It's futile. You, nor Mark will be any different.

If Joy didn't want a move back to Coventry it wouldn't have happened. Your input regardless of how impactful she/the club may have made it seem, was overall irrelevant and would've had zero bearing on the final decision.

She has little to no regard of the fans or their wants/wishes.

Her tenure as owner of this football club is testament enough to that.
You’re assuming ccfc / sisu were the only party and change what you can accept what you can’t

Pretty obvious really.

not really as he wanted an amalgamation with wasps. Perhaps you would like to tell me how the structure Sisu operate can work in the championship as I don’t see it

The return happened because it had to happen.

No external influence would've had any baring on the final decisions of Wasps nor the club regardless of what the PR spin suggests.

I'm not saying this maliciously by the way, I just know the club/Joy has a very horrible habit of making people feel special when it's convenient for them. They're calculated and manipulative.

So if you want to believe you brought about change then fine, but having met Joy and know what she's like through close contacts, I find it very difficult to believe an average fan had a significant impact in enabling the move back to the Ricoh. That's just not how it works and probably more importantly, that's definitely not how she operates.

Interestingly the club after raising the issues and turning the argument round on the radio and in the media have been extremely balanced to ensure no one has any favouritism

Dear me. For me they are perfectly fit for purpose - I pay lower taxes and make more money. What would make me think that?
You do realise that (thankfully) you aren't everyone? And far more people are paying higher taxes, have hugely increasing costs for basics such as food and energy and are likely to feel squeeze even more in the coming months. If this was France you'd be all over saying what an utter failure it was and Macron was not fit for the job.

It's their job to run this country to improve the lives of its citizens. For most people at the moment that's not true, hence they're not fit for purpose.

All this is your opinion and not a factual statement

Yes that’s totally correct

She likes people on page and if they stay that way it’s fine. If not it’s out the circle of trust

The move ti Birmingham was a half arsed strategy to distress wasps and it failed. For a great hard as nails businesswoman she fails a lot. She has vendettas and plays fast and loose with her assets.

As usual the move bombed, she ran out of options and painted the return as a victory

It’s beyond parody she is still here

CCFC Finance Director
My own view is that the return was essential for finance reasons to both parties pure and simple

wasps needed the return of CCFC because of
- the increase in value to the stadium it would create
- the increase in turnover it created to benefit the deal with Delaware North
- to be able to get the CBS sponsorship
- to be able to refinance the bond issue
- not having to pay legals & advisors

CCFC/SISU needed the return because
- they couldn't generate enough income at St Andrews to make staying there pay
- they had 1.1m in the bank that was going to pay for Sheaf etc so needed the huge boost of season ticket sales to pay the wages May June July 2020 and transfer dealing. That was not going to happen in Birmingham
- St Andrews was by all accounts more expensive than the deal on offer here, offering less ancillary income like F&B share
- St Andrews had its capacity restricted because certain parts are not up to the health & safety
- SISU don't want to put any major sums in unless it is a last resort, looking at the figures for 2021 then the budget would have been squeezed to such a degree we would have been unable to compete had they stayed away
- I suspect they knew that the EU case was going nowhere and was only going to rack up additional cost
- the only way that SISU can get income extraction is by maximising all income streams - that simply was not going to happen at St Andrews

Frankly don't think CCC had much to do with it other than stay quiet and not object.

None of that should detract from the excellent work Pete & Mark did in having the fans voiced and represented. It needed to be said and heard by all parties (including CCC). I wasn't in the room when things were said so it can only be conjecture on my part. If it did help then great and thanks again guys but my own feeling is the fans of any sort had little to do with it.

Having been in the situation in front of JS myself i really can not see her being, or indeed wasps being, swayed by the fans. They never have been before. She says all the right things she thinks you want to hear but......

Just my opinion
