Same manager who has taken us from oblivion to a penalty kick from the promised land?
Same manager who has given me more highs and memories than any other manager in my 47 years of following my beloved club ?
Robins was never under pressure or in danger because what he has done for this club season after season
Who's to say we can't finish in the playoffs or have another cup run
The season isn't determined in October
We’ve won one game mate.

Most of what you’ve said is true yes, but it’s CCFC not MRFC.

Okay. That was a game I missed. I thought a lot of people were saying that wasn't a great performance and that Blackburn were awful, weren't they?
Everyone's awful when we've beaten them.
Luton fans not happy with their manager or performance yesterday, saying they were awful, I'm sure they'd of said it was the perfect smash and grab away win if they'd of managed to hold on to their half time lead.

This is tedious.

Without the changes we’d have lost. You can’t dominate and be two down.

Rudoni was a wild card selection after the Kitching nonsense clearly didn’t work. Randomly he and Binks seemed to then totally dominate the left hand side and Luton - who had defended well in the first half - were pushed back and back. They were no longer a threat - that they clearly were in the first half.

Sakamoto doesn’t defend in the box as a wide player and his role in their second goal was just bewildering.

This is probably the first game we’ve played wright and simms together as a front two all season. Wright also has not featured anywhere near enough.

We wouldn’t have scored without the changes.

I've read this written by a few posters. Given he was clobbered when clearing the ball near the goal line and was put on his backside, what was he exactly supposed to do? He got back up and tried to get back in position as quick as he could. If he had stayed down feigning injury he would have still played their players onside, and there is no guarantee the ref would have stopped play anyway.

There was certainly a lack of awareness from our defenders that Saka was still behind them, and they were unwise to try to play the Luton forwards offside, but even so it was hardly like they had been gifted an open goal at that point and there were other areas from that point until they scored the goal where we could have done better.

You can almost certainly dominate matches and lose .

The Blackburn game was far better.

Although I agree with some of the points you're making about yesterday, particularly about the affect the subs had, I don't agree Blackburn was better.
I thought our all round passing that night was fairly poor.

The absolute joy showing after the third, the willingness/desire to share it with the fans was beautiful to see.

Apropos of nothing, I'm loving being in safe standing. So much more exciting than block 25.

Just need to sort that West stand scoreboard out, save us from a cricked neck

It's been eerily quiet on here since the fantastic win yesterday. Robins nailed it yesterday and we were superb and even when we were losing, we were still playing very well.

Anyway, there were new threads, saying pretty much the same things, popping up all over the place after Preston and QPR, but now, after what was such a fabulous win yesterday, it's so, so much quieter.

I think for the prosperity and health and longevity of this footballing forum, we need to lose more often.

It's only a small minority Otis that make the most noise, just keep believing. 😎

I find it really confusing these days, the agenda driven posts apparently both ways to be honest ,we just don't know is the answer isn't it?We just have to faith, patience has served so well, familiar, but not achieving for the present yet,I think I've identified the reason for AV's departure so don't have a leaning towards that any more.
Ayari's treatment being the exposé for the rest of it?

The line up didn’t work in the first half.

In fact it didn’t work until Sakamoto was replaced

So Mark Robins gets a lot of credit for making the right substitutions then ?

Manager makes changes to win game...

This actually sounds like a positive, so why does your post still come across as negativity?

He can’t help himself Kyle - lives to complain and run vendettas against the manager and players. No idea why he watches us.

I can help myself very well thanks.

My criticism regarding Robins is pretty tame compared to many on here this season.

And yet..

Yeah, there was so much criticism at the line-up. I was fine with it at the time, but that's not the point. The point is that people were completely writing it off before a ball was even kicked in anger.

It's fine to doubt it, but some were more or less saying that Robins was clueless, lost the plot and insane.

I have no problem with reasoning, but a lot of stuff on here seems to be completely without rational thought.

And I know I am watching a different game when someone posts that Eccles is League 2 standard.

That is literally insane.
Most of the criticism was about playing 4 CBs, which didn’t work and one was hooked at HT.

Playing Liam Kitching at wing back is objectively hilarious and in true Kitching fashion his only contribution there was a needless booking for clocking someone.

Then you're stupider than I thought. Apologies for overestimating you, my mistake.

Nothing stupid about that, it’s entirely possible for someone to have more than one account 😂

Why do you always get so aggressive all the time? Again, like every encounter we’ve ever had, I’ve said literally nothing to you and for some reason you can’t resist wading in and calling me this and that. I’ve never had anything against you and yet you seem to always want to start a slanging match with me, just properly bizarre 😂

Aggressive?! You're mental.
And to suggest I'm ring of Steel is frankly barking.

You are a bit aggressive tbf Clint, towards me at least, I’ve got nothing against you but almost every comment I make you reply saying something along the lines of “you’re mental” or “you’re full of yourself” or “you’re stupider than I thought”, when there’s literally no need to do so.

Mate, you said another poster was getting pegged!
I'm sure no-one took it serious but I respond and you make a drama out of it.
Calm down.

That’s because the guy was saying I have a sore arse after sitting on the fence for so long, just a joke in response to his joke that’s all.

I don’t feel like I’m making a drama out of anything, I just feel like you always try and take the piss out of every little comment I make, just getting a bit grating tbh 🤷🏻‍♂️😂
