really? You see if I’m Robins, I wait for the Luton Job which is seemingly going to be available soon.
Would suit the players and the club like a glove to be honest
Yeah genuinely think he has a good centre back options for his three at the back, midfielders aren’t the progressive passers we have but would re link up with Liam Walsh and Chong could play the ten. On strikers he’s got the target men which he used and a great poacher who’s struggling for game time.really?
The players at Luton aren't the kind of players Robins traditionally likes.
This is not someone who’s handed in their notice to go somewhere else, this is someone who has been sacked because they were deemed to be not good enough.
I think you’d be hard pushed to find any kind of employment tribunal which would enforce a non-compete clause under those circumstances.
Giles plays for Hull doesn't he? They do have Doughty who is much better than Giles anyway but wouldn't be surprised if he moved to the Prem in January.Yeah genuinely think he has a good centre back options for his three at the back, midfielders aren’t the progressive passers we have but would re link up with Liam Walsh and Chong could play the ten. Plus attacking wingbacks like Giles and think you’ve got a robins 20/21 squad
Sorry wires crossed with the titleGiles plays for Hull doesn't he? They do have Doughty who is much better than Giles anyway but wouldn't be surprised if he moved to the Prem in January.
Player swap,Sheaf for lb?Giles plays for Hull doesn't he? They do have Doughty who is much better than Giles anyway but wouldn't be surprised if he moved to the Prem in January.
For Doughty? I'd take it. Quality player and pretty much the only Luton player not completely embarrassing himself this season.Player swap,Sheaf for lb?
They are built to be direct and physicalYeah genuinely think he has a good centre back options for his three at the back, midfielders aren’t the progressive passers we have but would re link up with Liam Walsh and Chong could play the ten. Not sure I agree, physical sure but feel there a quite a few in the midfield who could play nice one touches. They are built to be direct and physical
they are in no way ideal for him, the 20/21 only played like that because of injuries
Have this massive feeling Robins will take a L1 job. He might not necessarily rush, but he did say he’s set a fire under himself
He would do brilliantly at that level as before but think he is better than that
Definitely. It’s just what I thinks gonna happen.

Perhaps Rotherham if Squeaky Evans is let goRobins to Reading or Bolton maybe
Robins to Reading or Bolton maybe
Charlton would be another but definitely could see him at those 2 you mentioned.
Wherever it is i hope they have a few quid so they can take a few of ours that don't perform off us.
He deserves that, I genuinely doubt he’s capable of replicating our success of 22/23.No chance. Robins deserves a top 6 bound championship club, his salary rises since 2020 would put him way out of Reading and Bolton’s bracket.
There's a lot of unknown to put with where he takes over next.No chance. Robins deserves a top 6 bound championship club, his salary rises since 2020 would put him way out of Reading and Bolton’s bracket.
Mark did get us to FA Cup final, its just that we were not allowed to take part for commercial reasons. You have to feel for Mark Robins, I mean how unlucky was he, a penalty kick away from the Premier League and a toenail away from the FA cup final.
Good luck Mark in whatever you do next.
I fully agree with you. He was a success every season with us. I remember lots of our support saying they would prefer a shot at winning the FA cup than getting promotion to the Prem. We came within a toenail of beating Manchester United in the semi final but the extra games finished our season off. Then the same people used it against him. Some people have very short memories. He deserves that, I genuinely doubt he’s capable of replicating our success of 22/23.
Wow. That’s quite the allegation.Mark did get us to FA Cup final, its just that we were not allowed to take part for commercial reasons.
A referee has told me what they did.
The referee awarded the penalty, VAR chalked off a goal that the officials in the ground thought was legit.Wow. That’s quite the allegation.
If that was the case, we wouldn’t have been awarded the penalty.
The penalty was also checked. The point is that if there was a genuine conspiracy against the club (one of many apparently) they could easily have said it wasn’t a penalty. The referee awarded the penalty, VAR chalked off a goal that the officials in the ground thought was legit.
Still don’t buy the conspiracy but there is a difference.
The referee can overrule that. VAR tells them to give a goal offside. The penalty was also checked. The point is that if there was a genuine conspiracy against the club (one of many apparently) they could easily have said it wasn’t a penalty.
To believe this though you’d have to buy that the VAR team were told not to let us win but for some bizarre reason the message wasn’t given to the referee on field. The referee awarded the penalty, VAR chalked off a goal that the officials in the ground thought was legit.
Still don’t buy the conspiracy but there is a difference.
