I'm not too sure you realise what you are trying to jump in on, are you? Who is saying Hull are a bad club?
Just weird trying to post over and over without really saying anything.
Again, stop following me around, you’re obsessed
Incredible is a good way to put it - we had one of the easiest roads to the semi-final you could ever imagine. It takes on outsize importance because of those Wolves and Man Utd games (one of which we still lost!) and we’ll all wear it as a badge of honour, but you can’t use it to say last season was a success or that it proved much about Robins’ abilities. We finished 6 points worse off than the season before , in terms of league performance we practically stalled .. but the cup run was incredible .. it wasn't a bad season at all up until hull we were probably on a better trajectory than the playoff season
I'm not? I am replying to multiple threads.
You really do struggle without another certain member on here. You can't throw shit about and let somebody else try to explain for you.
You don't even realise what you're arguing about on this thread.
Hull finished 7th last season they're a good club
Very fine lines it seems. We finished 6 points worse off than the season before , in terms of league performance we practically stalled .. but the cup run was incredible .. it wasn't a bad season at all up until hull we were probably on a better trajectory than the playoff season

M
Clearly better than us as we finished 9th
Croatian internet will do that to a man.I'm not? I am replying to multiple threads.

They're a good club despite whatever mental aerobics you try and throw into it , they were premier league not too long ago
Like I literally just said , you'd throw some nonsense into itSo we’re Wigan
Take a breath, and find someone else to stalk
Not a club that will give him much time though. Bolton in L1 would be interesting for him, or a club like that he can rebuildThey're a good club despite whatever mental aerobics you try and throw into it , they were premier league not too long ago
I agree he won't get the timeNot a club that will give him much time though. Bolton in L1 would be interesting for him, or a club like that he can rebuild
He thrives in the underdog role which Hull aren’t really. Good number of clubs further down who do fit that description and would allow him to build them up again.I agree he won't get the time
We haven't been the underdog for about 3 seasons really have we ?He thrives in the underdog role which Hull aren’t really. Good number of clubs further down who do fit that description and would allow him to build them up again.
We last were in summer 23. Then pissed a load of money up the wallWe haven't been the underdog for about 3 seasons really have we ?
His record on a shoestring budget is exceptional. His record with free rein and a bumper budget, not so.After everything robins has achieved I don't think he should drop a league personally. Championship job at the very least.
Not sure hull is right one though. Maybe a break be better for him

Some managers do best when decision paralysis is removed from the equation. He is one
Our run to the Semis was almost identical to Sheff Utd's the year before...Incredible is a good way to put it - we had one of the easiest roads to the semi-final you could ever imagine. Well, no it isn’t. When you have less to spend you have to extract the most from what you’ve got and spend what you do have more wisely. Even then we still had the likes of Tyler Walker cost a fair wedge of our funds and not work out. This is bollocks really isn’t it. Could easily say his record with Badlan scouting is better than it is with Austin. He barely wasted a penny until then.
Maybe but he may think he deserves a shot at better teams. God knows he has earnt that rightHis record on a shoestring budget is exceptional. His record with free rein and a bumper budget, not so.

Not really. We played the lowest-ranked team to ever make the Fifth Round, at home! Our run to the Semis was almost identical to Sheff Utd's the year before...
The point is, we had much fewer options and he had less to work with. Once the budget increased dramatically it went a bit kid in a sweet shop. That and the expectation levels soared in a short time.Literally only Tyler Walker out of all the signings over a nominal fee. And he was top scorer first year and did a job.
There was plenty wastedThis is bollocks really isn’t it. Could easily say his record with Badlan scouting is better than it is with Austin. He barely wasted a penny until then.

Having fewer options makes management simpler in many ways, it’s not a bizarre idea.Did he? Because it seems the whole slate suddenly took a turn for the worse across the board. I think it makes far more sense that a change in recruitment staff was to blame than some idea you can be good with little money but poor with lots of it.
Sheff Utd were 2 Champ, 1 NL and 1 Prem, so as I say, almost identical. Similar with Millwall 2014. Just saying an easy run isn't that rare. Not really. We played the lowest-ranked team to ever make the Fifth Round, at home!
I was a huge Robins fan, but being able to beat Oxford (L1), Sheffield Wednesday (bottom of Championship) and Maidstone all at home, plus a stellar result against Wolves isn’t the reason why. Nor would it convince me that any manager was worth keeping on.
Hilßner cost us £750k over his contract and we paid a fee.Go on. Who cost more than say £500k and was a failure other than Walker?
