He’s had a squad of about twenty the whole time. He’s not bought players that we dont need, the squad if anything is a little short. We’ve overpaid on a couple but are told that’s Doug’s domain. The problem is that as a whole they’ve not been up to scratch. Is your contention that Austin was presenting options and Robins was picking the wrong ones?

We'd lost 2 of the best players in the division, we'd also lost alot of experience and we practically rebuilt and finished 9th and got to the fa cup semi final .. there is no failure there

Ok away from me and you giving it 10 licks , it wasn't a failure as financially we benefitted massively from the cup run and genuinley unlucky not to make the final , the league we literally had a slow start a fantastic 25 game period between September and April and fell away at the end .. the squad was rebuilt off the back of losing what we now know is a world class striker and a top midfielder .
Personally felt it was a succesful season we remained competitive throughout until the end
