Personally. Robins was the best manager in my lifetime. Gave me every single moment of joy supporting this club.

He managed us through turmoil and was the one single constant.

I would have wanted him here as long as he wanted the job.

I’ll be absolutely gutted to see him line up against us. It will be like seeing an ex move on.

I will clap him and probably cheer his name before and after the game. If people aren’t happy with that then so be it.

I said before. We are Coventry city. Not a huge club by any stretch of the imagination. When we were in league two we all longed for the day of being a mid table championship club. Which is where a club like us ‘should’ be. Robins got us there against all odds

There are approximately 18-20 sides with similar budgets and ambitions to ours in the league. and we have no divine right to success. Robins should have been given more support and March vs Stoke will be a dark day in my eyes

Good luck to him. That’s where it ends.

Feel like there’ll be a strange faction who, if Stoke beat us, will be smug towards King.

I don't know about that, but plenty will be pretty miffed if Stoke finish higher than us this season or next.

Or if we beat them continue their adulation of King. An equally strange faction.

Robins was superb for us and deserves a good reception before and after the game, gave me some great memories

however he made some really poor decisions in the transfer market over the last couple windows, which is partly why we’re pretty shit at the moment

Not sure about this.. if so then it’s weird. Human nature as it is though, there are now going to be weekly comparisons between how he gets on and how Lampard gets on with us, that’s just the way it is and it’s unavoidable. I can’t get wound up either way, this news has left me feeling… just nothing really.

If MR takes the Stoke job, then I wish him well. I'm sure he'll do well there and the Stoke fans should be more than happy with the appointment.

It won't stop me from applauding him when he comes back here, or hoping we smash them every time we play them.

He's gone, rightly or wrongly, and we've moved on, I'm more concerned with how FL gets on in 2025 than anything MR does.

Looking forward to a 20 page thread on here in the weeks leading up to the Stoke game about the reaction he'll get, how people are taking banners, what songs to sing etc.

I wish you were joking. Grow men too.

Hope we beat them 12-0. He's gone, he will be managing an opposition team.
