But then surely, if they sacked Robins, the new players are still going to be on more than the old players aren't they, so that wouldn't change a thing.
all I say is, it’s the most money that a manager has had to spend in years and we’re looking awaful, most pressure from above robbins has ever been under, Doug reckons he can’t do anymore, that squads good enough, after today it clearly isn’t

That’s unfair on Rudoni, he looks good in that 10 role, but it is just Eccles and Torp (then Allen) who just look markedly off the pace.

It was the same last season when Sheaf was out for the games in Feb/March - when we had COH.

what has rudoni done in the league games so far? Very little

pre season he looked an upgrade on ohare

in the league when it matters, he looks like a passenger offering very little to the dynamics of the team

Feel that’s because a he’s been played as a 10 when he’s clearly an 8. Why did robins get them training all pre season in 4-3-3 to change it to a 4-2-3-1 last min

So many players aren't at it that it goes beyond individual performances. There's just so much not right across the pitch and increasingly I think it stems from the manager and coaching staff.

Rudoni was abysmal and has performed for 20 minutes in that role, he's making Palmer look workmanlike and certainly more effective

So what’s the fallout of Doug refusing? Also when you say Doug isn’t happy does he have an itchy trigger finger in this regard. Sounds like a shitshow behind the scenes
This is just my opinion of what I’ve heard, honestly Doug hasn’t put any of his own money into the team, can’t knock him for what he’s done, training ground is the best it’s been, if you add up the starting 11 and the bench and compare that to the team that got to the play off final it’s frightening, robins did better when we had no money to
spend, as much as we all love robins with the money we’ve spent we shouldn’t be getting out played by an average Norwich side, if you take the sky blue tinted glasses off if that’s any other club you’d expect changes

Don’t disagree to be honest. Other side of that question tho is who would we even want to come in to replace mark?

Was just so frustrating today. Players didn’t move in or out of possession. When a Norwich player had the ball he has two or three options on it, our players just stand there watching, no one goes to help out, there’s no patterns where a player knows where someone will be if needed. No one dragging players out of position or moving into space to receive the ball. Just basic basic stuff we aren’t doing.
O’Hare was great at that. Always wanted it, always offered and moved, even if he wasn’t the best option it would drag defenders out of position

Right, this is 100 % true, robins and Doug have had words , robins went begging to Doug. We need a midfielder, our players are capped at 20k a year max, all,the players that we wanted in the transfer window. Wanted more than that which. is why we Didn’t sign anyone, lots going on behind the scenes, players not happy that new players that have come in are on more than players that have been here for years, robins isn’t irreplaceable we had nearly 20 million pound on the bench today, pressures on everyone to,turn it around, Doug isn’t happy

You don’t write Donald Trump’s monologues do you? Lots of similarities.

Robins publicly thanked Doug on CWR after the game today saying he had "absolutely backed him to the hilt".....

At least you know Palmer is playing when he's on the pitch.

Rudoni seemed to disappear today and you barely knew he was out there.

I think he's absolutely going to be a match winner for us at times. I just fear he's going to be incredibly inconsistent and you will never quite know what you are going to get.

That first half against Oxford, he was running the show and was everywhere. Looked like a fantastic buy that day.

Last two games I've seen him play, he's hardly been in the game at all

I wouldn’t be overly shocked if Robins doesn’t last the season. Feels like the pressure is very high and King is still an unknown when it comes to patience with managers.

To be fair he did give Robins a lot of time last year when we started badly. Might not have the stomach to do it twice

I hope he's always remembered as one of the most important managers the club has ever had. That said, he's spent a lot on this squad now and it's unacceptable we look this poor. He deserves some time to turn it around but if we are still stinking out the joint by Christmas, Doug has a decision to make.

I can't help but feel that we're using the squad wrong at the moment too.

Our depth up front will really start to be key when the winter starts to kick in and teams are breaking down, it's definitely a good thing to have.

What we're doing at the moment though is just trying to use as much of our attacking talent as possible in every game. Even with players out of position. it's not allowing our proper starters to get full 90 minutes of action in and get in the swing of things.

If you want to keep your job that’s what you’d be expected to say, if you’ve got a programme from today add up the cost of the bench, it’s frightening then add the starting 11, we’re 16th and there’s nothing we can do until January to change it

To be fair if we were still this poor by Christmas it would be a relegation battle. Would hope the decision would be made before this season is a complete right off.
