It was gloriously reminiscent of Dublin and Huckerby. Or Ferguson and Wallace for you older folk
More like Latchford and Withey

At the time I thought Hiwula hit the ball at the keeper and then it rebounded back off him into the net, so I thought he was quite fortunate. Not seen it subsequently, but either way, let's hope it gets him some confidence in front of goal, as he has evidently been lacking it recently.
I'm waiting for you to claim it touched ChaplinLucky rebound/deft flick.

The keeper seems to get a hand on it and that slows it down I think. Was a good goal. Who said it was lucky?
For me he showed great anticipation to get onto Baka flick on good pace to stay in front their defender and I think showed good composure to chip the keeper even though execution wasn’t great. Did all the right things. Can’t knock it.
Yes he does. But it’s a goal. So well done Jordy Hiwula. The keeper seems to get a hand on it and that slows it down I think.
Oh yeah, not criticising, but you can see why some said it was a scrappy goal.Yes he does. But it’s a goal. So well done Jordy Hiwula.
It was a very good finish actually dinking it over the keeper (admittedly after he'd nearly overrun the ball). So many people moan about our strikers not scoring goals and when two much maligned strikers combine to score all people can do is try to prove it was lucky.
All strikers have lucky bounces or deflections.
You can't miss chances or get "lucky" goals unless you get into scoring positions
Exactly what we need though with no Doyle.Just noticed at the end Meyler was on the pitch going round each player. Seems committed for a loanee.
so what? doesnt make it a lucky finish, it was on target and hit well enough the keeper couldnt stop it going inThe keeper seems to get a hand on it and that slows it down I think.

I wish people would recognise more that this is a young team; on average younger than the team of kids relegated from this league 2 years ago.
Please don’t make excuses for them halfwits who took us down. Whoever/whatever their age they were all a disgrace apart from DKE who at least tried.

People were quite happy to use the “ young kids” excuse when in reality they wore just pants! (Not aimed at you by the way) :emoji_thumbsup:
Yep, I’m afraid it was the brown y-fronts with the white hem based on some of the performances that season! No wonder they went down - the team, not the pants :muted:
Not what I said at all.so what? doesnt make it a lucky finish, it was on target and hit well enough the keeper couldnt stop it going in
