People on twitter shouting about how Rotherham will have to play 3 games a week, think most have forgotten it takes two to tango, it would mean we would also have to play 3 matches that week aswell, again, putting us at a disadvantage.
I don't believe we get a say in when the rearranged fixture is. Thats an EFL decision to set the date.As the issue is with Rotherham and now us, it’s up to us to agree any new proposed date for the re-arranged fixture.
We’re not going to have the power to try and dictate anything. As the issue is with Rotherham and now us, it’s up to us to agree any new proposed date for the re-arranged fixture.
reading their forum, they also have a few injuries, and are hoping a few of them can be back
so not only their covid players, but 2 or 3 injured players back
sounds a bit fishy to me
I am sure the EFL have the discretion to move fixtures during this crisis I think that has been already been done but I’m not so sure about the international break that might not be in their remit as it is a UEFA stipulation I think.I don't believe we get a say in when the rearranged fixture is. Thats an EFL decision to set the date.
Looking at the highlights, it doesn't seem too bad a game. We certainly had more shots in that game than we did against Middlebrough!Never seen anything like it. On a few occasions our winger (Kyle Ried!?) dribbled down the line, got to the corner flag then turned back around and ran to the halfway line instead of crossing. Also remember Bayliss or Westbrooke arriving late in the box and purposely launching his shot into the stand. I was amazed the EFL didn’t look into it.
We did. We had some good chances. It mainly fizzled out in the second half.Looking at the highlights, it doesn't seem too bad a game. We certainly had more shots in that game than we did against Middlebrough!

Though obviously JCH was trying not to score for that one brilliant chance the keeper made a very good save for.We did. We had some good chances. It mainly fizzled out in the second half.

The last 15 minutes v Bristol city in the 70's was pretty blatant too.
Whoever picked that didn’t watch the game. Either that or no other keeper did anything.
I stayed for the whole game. I think we had about 2 shots on target the whole game.
don’t get me wrong I justified it by - we needed a point we played for a point, the factMorecambe didn’t leave their half was neither here or there
The other side of the coin is that players who were fit enough to play for them this weekend might be injured whenever the re-arranged game is.reading their forum, they also have a few injuries, and are hoping a few of them can be back

In the year 2525 if man is still alive..........EFL will always look for a a mutually agreed date before enforcing.
Not sure why people keep talking like the postponements are a massive benefit to Rotherham. They've got more games left than free slots in the calendar, it's more likely to have an adverse impact on their performance than positive even if they do get some injured players back.
I agrre and the Morecambe match was perfectly legitimate albeit low in quality. As you say there were chances and saves.Though obviously JCH was trying not to score for that one brilliant chance the keeper made a very good save for.
We were clearly trying to win the game at first, but then shut up shop and kept it right later on.
If the EFL had investigated that, we would have passed with flying colours.
I think the problem is more about a number of clubs have had positive cases, and continued to fulfil their fixtures, in some cases without some of their best players, including us.Not sure why people keep talking like the postponements are a massive benefit to Rotherham. You have to wonder what the EFL are going to do considering that its being said that its against PFA regulation to play 3 matches in a week, the only real thing i can see is playing in international break. Unfortunatly that puts us at a disadvantage not having Osti for their 2 man mountains upfront.
The international break is a no go as we are disadvantaged. We can’t be disadvantaged like this.
The only way for Rotherham not to play 3 times in one week is to play us or Luton during the international break, with the other game played in the mid week before the final weekend's fixtures. Big call by the EFL as to how they arrange this. Anyone know if Luton are likely to have any players likely to be called away on international duty? If they don't then it would be logical for them to play their Rotherham fixture in the break, rather than us play then (presuming Ostigaard gets called up by Norway).
No other club had a single positive case last week from 5409 tests.
Clearly Rotherham must be breaking protocols.
But if those three players have been around the other players, then they would all need to self isolate.Right.
Has anyone actually read this?
1 club has 3 players with covid
3 PLAYERS and our games called off?
We had to play on earlier in the season with Wilson Mcfadz Shippers not able to play with covid/ isolating.
So how the fuck have they pulled this off?
