One of the players of the season so would be a big loss. Does anybody know how long a dislocated shoulder puts you out for?

Lampard said it came out, went back in but came out again. Guess it depends on the muscles around it?

Not sure but they can recurr and ultimately need an op which is quite a long absence.

Been playing very well, would be a huge loss and we have no one else who can really do what he does for us.

Time for others to step up if he's out. We managed to adjust in the play off run two years back. No dramas.

If it came out a second time that is not good. Main thing is to do the right thing rather than try and fudge it as that can lead to long term issues.

We will find out soon enough the outcome, but we been dealing with big players out since FL has been here. I'm sure next man up attitude will be heard around the training ground...

Yep if it’s come back out - suggests muscles damaged, which means surgery likely…..

which means his season is done would think

Why the fuck was he playing on if his shoulder popped out. Even if it popped back him, get him off!
Id imagine because Sheaf didn't have 83+ minutes in him, and Rudoni said he was OK, (until he wasnt)

I did think Allen might be the obvious replacement though, which would of meant Sheaf could of had 15-20 minutes.

Allen, Torp or Paterson will have to replace his role as best they can.

Give him Stoke and Derby off to rest. Bandage the shit out of the shoulder, stick a big needle full of toradol in it and get him out there for Sunderland.

This is the crunch end of the season in an elite sport with £100m+ on the line. You do what needs to be done.

why? because you googled how long it takes a normal person with normal outpatient treatment to heal?
It's true we could get a better idea by finding other examples of footballers with dislocated shoulders, but who can be arsed to do that?
(Hint hint to anyone sad enough to look it up.)

With Wright on his way back, could we play EMC in that role?

I guess it would be Torp if not?
Allen I think with Torp coming on later in the game to start building back full fitness (or maybe vice versa if Torp is still sharp).

Sheaf will have a start I think and Eccles will start on the bench (or maybe vice versa ).
