Saw them testing muscle/tendon integrity and let him play on so likely no major injuries there.
But I'd be suprised if he hadn't injured his labrum considering it came out a second time without an overt mechanism of injury.
My guess is may need surgery and be out for some time.
Hopefully I'm wrong

Tbf they might not even realise how serious it is
Would be a massive shame to lose him at this point. But if he was to be looking at a lengthy spell on the sidelines, could a certain Jamie Paterson fill that role? He does seem to be quite versatile and has played in an array of midfield positions. Just a thought maybe.

There’s no denying that it is a big blow but I back Torp to come in and do a good job for us.
We have coped remarkably well with the injuries to EMC, Haji and Sheaf who along with Rudoni are arguably our four best players.

The only positive out of this injury is hes the one player who needs a rest along with MVE . So its likely he will get a much needed one for a few weeks.

Rudoni is probably the single most important player in the squad. I posted when I first saw him that I thought he was the nearest thing I have seen to Ian Gibson (left) star of the 1966-67 promotion season. He has progressed since then (he's more consistent than Gibbo).
He has the fastest feet so retains possession, he assists, he scores and takes the sexiest corners. Torp or Paterson can fill in and we will lose nothing defensively, but it is a huge hole going forward. I think people are underestimating the impact of this, sorry.
I don't think any other midfielder we have can play his role so well so the key is not who replaces him. However EMC and Tats have to step up to the plate to create the chances and score goals - including against opposition all of whom have something to play for.

You’re right, he has been brilliant for us; a really classy player.
I’ve got some faith that Torp can cover his role adequately. I’d say He has a similar range of passing and is pretty decent at creating space for himself.
If Rudoni is out he’ll be missed for sure but I think Sheaf coming back may off-set some of this. It’ll be a shame if our dream midfield of Rudoni, Grimes and Sheaf is so short lived.

It's a great opportunity for EMC to step up and play the Rudoni role while Wright slots in on the left.
I really can't see Patterson having the pace or stamina to do the job for 90 minutes.

Not from what I have seen in his two cameos. He looks very lightweight and not wanting to defend. For me, it would be Torp or Allen.

Next game, I’d expect Allen to come back into the team to give the legs in midfield from the defensive side of the game.
However, as Haji builds his minutes, the best team probably looks like:
Dovin
MVE
Thomas
Kitching
Bidwell
Sakamoto
Grimes
Sheaf
EMC
Simms
Wright
Probably a 4-4-2 and given our reliance on crosses into the box for chance creation, could really leverage having two big strikers. Looking ahead to the summer, we probably need to look at bringing in an AM/CM who is a similar profile to Rudoni because as you point out, he’s an important player to us.

Kioso is a thug. Fouled Thomas for the pen and took out Bidwell on the follow up to the pen which is why hit shot hit the bar.
