Common sense approach Dongonzalos, I too feel that we should be welcoming Simon's presence on here.
I read the Coventry Telegraph on line and don't understand the vitriol aimed at it and Simon.
I have read his book and found it a decent insight in to events over a long period and with the input of the protagonists.
Perhaps if Gilbert, like Reid, didn't have an agenda, wasn't patronising and didn't give out abuse and mud sling (similar to which you chastise others for giving him) then more people would give him credence and listen to what he says.

Call me cynical but Fisher, Gilbert, Reid, PWKH et al, all have an agenda and play the hand they want. We never get a straight line from any of them.
