Was he talking about a couple who effectively have lost their child, besides RBS attitude to fellow fans is no different to the attitude the other way.
I have always taken the view not to judge my fellow fans whether that is attending Sixfields, NOPM or starving the club of income by not renewing their ST until SISU have gone. I realise others are quicker to judge and pigeonhole. Fair enough.
I called a season ticket a 'Treason ticket' last season for a laugh.
When the move was announced I was very tempted to just go and watch my team as I had always done. It was only really when listening to my sons and the views oF others that I made the decision not to go.
Yes it was temporary. I also believed that it would be temporary. And it proved to be temporary.
Some people didn't believe that it would be and who can blame them with the rest of the bollocks we've been told.
Can you grasp that?
The only one that could possibly be "yes" is the question concerning withholding rent,All the questions below have the same answer. "No".
Should SISU have withheld rent?
Should Fisher have moved us to Northampton?
Did CCC need to hand the Ricoh to Wasps?
Anyway, have we been taken over yet or what?

If you believe Fisher and Seppala they were never coming back to the Ricoh. They were never coming back to Coventry. On what grounds was that not permenant? You can say why believe those people. What other criteria did supporters have to go on? I genuinely believed that their act of brinkmanship would end before the first home game of that season. When it didn't it became clear they were actually going ahead with there mad cap scheme. It is only over time and the collapse of the totally bogus stadium committee (what a scummy idea that was to, entice genuine supporters onto a group to discuss plans for a stadium that they knew would never exist), and the repeated delays on Tim's new site that it became totally clear that they were lying toads. When the move first happened, what could people do but take them at their word?It was temporary. Every agreement and arrangement was temporary.
Thats even without using hindsight.
Can people really not grasp that?
That's the difference.
Why would somebody else's view stop me from watching the team I support play? The same as it wouldn't if Wasps bought us at midday or Hoffman and Elliott did.

It was a genuine question. I agree with the answers to all of the three questions you set. Where we differ I suspect would be in the reasons for number three. I wish that CCC had not sold the Ricoh to Wasps as that really is, as we would both agree, the hammer blow to our future. However I can understand why they did it when having to deal with a company like Sisu.
I knew people who went into Sixfields and I wouldn't criticise them as I am not criticising you. It is obvious from your posts that you love our club as much as anyone and like myself and virtually evreryone on here, would never do anything to harm CCFC. It is just interesting therefore to look as to the reasons, considering we both agree that the move was wrong, as to why we came to different conclusions as to the right thing to do. When the move was announced I was very tempted to just go and watch my team as I had always done. It was only really when listening to my sons and the views oF others that I made the decision not to go. I really hoped there would be a total boycott. I also feel that if no one had gone Sisu's plan would have collapsed sooner. I suppose my view is, and again this is not a criticism as I understand the pull of supporting our team, that those that did go in were (unintentionally) supporting Sisu in what they were trying to do.
My memory is fine thank you very much.Your memory is not what it used to be
That's what a shape shifting lizard would say. Suspicions confirmed.Nothing wrong with changing your mind as things develop. It's the people that refuse to adapt that you need to watch out for.

Somehow I knew you'd be searching giphy for lizard
I didn't say it should. I was just asking how someone else who loves and supports the club in the way that I do came to a different conclusion. That's the difference.

You are sick As I have said before you need helpWhy would you care anyway?
If you lived in Northampton and CCFC rolled into town you'd support them and wouldn't give a fuck about CCFC fans left stranded with no team to support.
Being lectured by you on franchising is like turning up to a lecture on Good Childcare Tips and find its being presented by the McCanns.
Somehow I knew you'd be searching giphy for lizard
It's fact it was temporary.
Still, let's not let that get in the way of anything with a scab bash.
General Election announced. Can someone summerise what's supposedly going on today please ,
Thanks
We just disagree on one point then. There was no need to sell out to Wasps. Sisu won't be here forever but thanks to that one decision Wasps will.
Lucas said a club should not be ripped from its community yet she forgot that in an instant it seems. They also told us if you recall the stadium didn't need CCFC or an anchor tenant and was doing quite nicely without them.
No, SISU should never have taken us to Northampton, but if CCC had had a little more foresight they would have held their resolve and either done a deal with the football club or waited until another buyer came along. After all CCFC would have been a lot more attractive with the chance to buy into the Ricoh - proved by Wasps moving 90 miles. But no, decisions by SISU and then compounded by CCC have condemned the club to an uncertain future.
exactly.
dont tell me any sane fan thought oh its ok we will be back within 3 years. 5 at the most!
we had no idea if we were coming back or not.
Apart from the football league stating the club had to give assurances that they would return back to the city within the set timescale.
They are the ones who can remove the Golden share so I would take it you wouldn't lie and risk losing your league place.
WTF. ReallyBeing lectured by you on franchising is like turning up to a lecture on Good Childcare Tips and find its being presented by the McCanns.
let down by the football league is sang around grounds for a reason. they dont tend to show much backbone to poor owners. i doubt many had faith in them

They are doing a fucking great job without having to lie..... (This is NOT a attack on your post btw)
