Except the point has been missed that the agreement is with Wasps not CCFC.
We will have to wait to see if it's true as no point divulging details yet with Sisu holding on to us.

Nobody on here has any idea of what is going on, only those who own or are inquiring to buy really know the truth. Now is anyone trying to buy? in my opinion, yes, lots would be interested at a price they deem worth it. Are sisu willing to sell? in my opinion yes, every business is for sale, at a price they deem worth walking away.

The question that should be asked is are Sisu willing to keep the business that in all truth has no future with them in control. They are showing a balance sheet that is reliant on selling players for profit to fund the running costs of a business just to survive. This in a business where if you stand still you fall and end up with very little chance of turning it around, or recouping monies invested. Sisu are past a point of no return, court case to be resolved then in my opinion by the end of this year or sooner they will for once make their intentions known. Is this wishful thinking on my behalf could be, but i really dont see how they can carry on as is or carry on pretending they are in control of an upturn in the business.

I think they've been trying to do that for years but nobody wants to get involved in the mess.
That's how I always thought Anderson would approach the talks re Income streams.
A share of the Club in exchange, incrementally for each gain.
Of course that would have to have involved clearing our debt.

Given the papers stance in regards to the CCFC owners, would it really be that hard for the paper to have taken an 'ethical' stance on the presence of Wasps?

After all the paper made quite a noise on the 'unethical' movement of CCFC during the Sixfields debacle.

Just a question and all that...
Excellent question, i see Gilbert has yet to answer.

The fact that we're hailing Hoffman (vice chairman under sisu) and Elliot (the man who went round people's houses to take their shares of them for sisu) as potential saviours shows the absolute state we're in.

Yeah thanks for this, you've just reminded me of the wonderful fucking return I've received on having my share forcibly acquired :mad:

Why would any meeting be at the Ricoh?

This is the bar downstairs at the Ricoh, after legends day. Somewhere JE goes every game.

Though GH isn't normally there I suspect he came along for legends day.

They were both sat on the same table for legends dinner

Were Joy and Tim with them? If not, what is your point? We know they drink coffee together, and now we know they eat together. Doesn't mean a deal is in the offing.

Definitely something going on between Hoffman and Wasps, I saw Hoffman go in the Wasps shop before the game. This can only mean one thing.

It's a fucking stupid question. Only a few sad bitter CCFC fans who want to blame anyone but Sisu think Wasps are "unethical". The link is more tenuous than a very tenuous thing. There are no protests against Wasps, most people have no issue with them being here. It's just a crutch those desperate to blame others for our predicament cling on to.

It's really sad.

Franchising *is* unethical.

That's absolutely nothing to do with SISU being God's gift, or Satan's diarrhoea.

Wasps, therefore, have done unethical sporting practices, as did MK Dons before them. Accept such things, and may as well move CCFC to Belfast now.

Think of a balloon - now be careful as its one balloon - and it's not really a balloon as its deflated.

Well put, but I keep getting an image of Fisher stood by a deflated inflatable football stadium.

How any Coventy fan can think what they did is acceptable is beyond me after what happened to us

But they are unethical !
Sisu are the root of our problems I certainly agree , but nobody will ever convince me that the wasps move was anything but sly and underhand.
Do you think it would be ethical to parachute a franchise rugby league team into the city as well ? If that ( a big if ) happens, that would really show what unethical really meant.

if SISU had dealt honestly with the council from day one we would have the Ricoh arena not wasps so who's to blame
