So i'm guessing I don't owe Italia an apology tomorrow then? and all these rumours of takeovers are now confirmed as bullshit?

It's even less interesting than I thought. Nothing to see. Italia in wumming mode.

Surely the question could be Hoffman/Elliot or continue with Sisu. If there is no other choice you would continue with Sisu?

I'd rather Hoffman on his own, Elliott has been involved far too long with different failed owners/chairmen. Problem is they appear to be a double act, chuckle brothers but better tans.

If it had to be them two or SISU? Them two. Did it really need asking? Would anyone pick SISU over them two?

Sorry, just seen this after last post. Fair enough answer.

Piece taken from the Observer....
"Club chairman Tim Fisher told us last month there had been no credible offer for the club which had shown proof of funds, or transparency of investors – the criteria by which it is understood Sisu would consider any bid, as well as the financial terms of any offer."

Yet expect us(The Fans) to accept the total opposite from their "Invisible backers"

I guess tomorrow will see a 5 parter from Hoffman on how his bid was rejected, with no mention of what he actually bid etc?

Don't know about you, but I'd hope any new owners are the opposite to SISU rather than the same from our point of view.

'The noise and speculation around the football club is simply not helpful'.... yet the prospect of having no ground, no academy, no future having been freshly relegated to the 4th Tier along with ongoing legal wranglings lodged by SISU have no impact whatsoever. Nice one Timmy.

Did find that a little ironic. We didn't know what JS even looked liked for years, yet they now seem to want to see passports before they sell the club. Strange.

I wonder if they request transparency of investors into their Cayman Island hedge fund?

That is also the point isn't it. The main need is to get rid of Sisu. Who ever comes in, it may only be in the interim. Hopefully we would know who these owners are. With Sisu they cling like a limpet strangling the life out of the club and yet apart from Sepalla, who is herself hard to get at, we don't know who we are dealing with.

Going off topic a little (and this may have already been mentioned elsewhere on the forum) but I heard a Talksport interview with Brighton's chief exec the day after they won promotion. Jim White was saying how Brighton have proved that you can get it right with the right owners, in this case the owner is a Brighton fan. But, then the chief exec mentioned that the owner had put £250m into the Club and they had for the last few years been losing £25m a year. They gambled on promotion and got it, but surely if they had gone another few years in the Championship then they would have been on their arse (with the owner most likely protested against for bringing the club to its knees financially!) Is someone really ever going to come into CCFC and invest that kind of money and take that risk?

The club needs a fresh start. No Elliott, no Hoffman, none of the old faces that have been here while the club has sank. Sorry if that upsets a few but I don't see Hoffman or Elliott as heroes.[/QUOTE]
In fairness to Hoffman and Elliott they were not part director wise to the old Richardson/ McGinnity regime that took those catastrophic decisions such as selling HR etc. Elliott was an associate director mainly on the PR side of things and I think Hoffman was a vice- president or something similar,

Yes, clearly whipping up a frenzy by saying about a protest on Saturday. (after its been mentioned multiple times something is happening)

Can we have a vote on who is exactly in "a frenzy" over this? I'm a no.

Having said that, italia shouldn't have added the part about bombarding SISU without knowing any of the detail. That was plain daft.

So nothing is planned for Saturday? Last home game of the season. Relegation confirmed. SISU still here. ST prices at same price. Then the cherry on the top, takeover rumours circulating. Italia telling people to pick sides and bombard SISU. I'd say someone somewhere is trying to whip up a frenzy.
A frenzy are you having a laugh?

Elliot was a director of the original Arena Ltd wasn't he?

Well we do know. The investors into their funds are not making the decisions that affect our club, SISU are. SISU are JS and Dermot Coleman.

Problem we have is, we get rid of SISU. Then what? No stadium of our own. No academy. Limited sites to build a stadium. A council preferring Wasps to CCFC. Because of SISU, yeah. That is why we have a city of rugby initiative, would that disappear with SISU? Don't think it would. Whether it be SISU's fault or not, we have now been set up to be the second team in the city. The problems, unfortunately, don't end with SISU going. It's just one step on a very rocky road.
Hence why myself and others have called for all parties to be targeted so as to give us a head start and show a signal of intent that we will not be rolled over.

Because SISU and their actions are the reason the club is in it's current chronic state it is, you seem
More concerned with who might follow them as owners.

Should we not be concerned who might follow then? Unbelievable. Proves the point that people will accept anyone but SISU irrelevant that they may turn out to be just as bad.

That's the way it works with Tony and SBK the worst offenders for it.

Really? There's been an offer made then?

Funny how people don't believe it, it's just Italia wumming and then tell us why it won't be a serious offer and why it shouldn't be SISU's fault.

Unless of course you know there is an offer, what the offer is and whether its serious or not.

All I've said on the matter is I'll believe it when I see it, if and when I see it I'll pass judgment either way. I have pointed out that certain people are already lining their ducks up, which they are.

So basically you're accusing me of doing something I'm not (I'm sure SBK can talk for himself) while ignoring those who have already made their minds up what an offer they don't even know exists will be.

If not jumping to assumptions one way or the other makes me guilty of something I'd suggest you need to readdress your thought process.
