I think this is a bit of a strange article and as a Championship club I find it quite embarrassing.
Firstly why's pitch maintenance coming out of the playing budget?
And equally even if that's the case why are the club pushing that out to the press and making it public knowledge knowing full well the reaction it's going to get?
Not really sure what their aim is here. Putting my tin foil hat firmly on it suggests they're either pining for donations or prepping their narrative for when player sales are made in the summer.
Very envious of what they've got, but in a nice way, nothing malicious. Wish we had something similar. This is the kind of thing we’re up against. Leicester City.

This is alarming his comments and maybe the start of the parting of the ways for robins and our progress.Hopefully this is not the beginning of the end for Robins future with Cov -Frustration seems to be picked up in his wording. He is already reportedly working with one of the smallest and cheapest squads in the division and money seems so tight it seems he is suggesting 'ear-marking a chunk of the funds available to improve the quality of the club’s Ryton training ground pitches' -Worrying comments indeed - Other clubs might show him around there superb training facilities and how much he is given to spend to fulfil his ambitions . We are one of the best if not the best footballing sides in the division- please at least provide him the basics of decent pitches and facilities

Let’s get real players will be sold regardless of their season ticket etc sales pitchWe hold our breath on the owners delivering
If he gets us promoted via the playoffs, it's happy days, 1 season in the Premier league will pay for a new training ground and give us parachute payments to make us competitive when we come back down.

Or cover their high interest loans against the clubIf he gets us promoted via the playoffs, it's happy days, 1 season in the Premier league will pay for a new training ground and give us parachute payments to make us competitive when we come back down.
Difference is we will sell O’Hare Hamer etc to cover training ground costs & high interest loans against the club rather than putting it back into playing squadShock horror. Football club sells players, buys players. How do you think our team has improved over the past few seasons?

Definitely this!Maybe part of it is try and push the narrative for selling the training ground to move to a new one. It wasn't too long ago that the pitches at Ryton were purportedly in great nick.
Top players will be sold and robins will have the task of finding equal replacements on peanuts we’ve been here before H...this if Robins is here much longer of course next big offer that comes I think he goes tbhWe'll see. So you think we're going to sell our top players and do up the training ground, and not replace our top players. Really ?
May well plant the seed but the ground won't be fertile (Warwick was never a starter) .I think this is an early call if he gets a bad response It will be bye bye .Hope not.Definitely this!
MR has planted the seed for a move to Warwick University I reckon! After they sell Ryton off.
The selling and buying part happens and M R has worked wonders with the pittance he receives from up above .He cannot keep doing it sooner or later our luck will run out.Shock horror. Football club sells players, buys players. How do you think our team has improved over the past few seasons?
Robins isn’t about that is he?Most likely prepping us for no significant signings in the summer. Which considering we need about 6 players is worrying.
What’s lucky about what he’s achieved? The selling and buying part happens and M R has worked wonders with the pittance he receives from up above .He cannot keep doing it sooner or later our luck will run out.
Do you not think he talks to boddy fisher and Seppala. It’s not playschool. He’s a professional football manager who’s stock has never been higher!May well plant the seed but the ground won't be fertile (Warwick was never a starter) .I think this is an early call if he gets a bad response It will be bye bye .Hope not.
I reckon that's it PeteDo you not think he talks to boddy fisher and Seppala. It’s not playschool. He’s a professional football manager who’s stock has never been higher!
If he thinks a move to Warwick university is necessary to progress he’ll mention it in meetings set up. I just don’t get why people would think he doesn’t know what to expect. Seems to me he revels in it and is used to winning some and losing others
I reckon that's it Pete
Top managers like Conte at Spurs do the same sort of thing
Put pressure on the owners by talking to the media about shortcomings at the club to get what they need
I think you grossly underestimate Robins. He's identifying elements he needs to extract more "marginal gains" including technical, tactical and political elements.robins works for the Sisu dollar and worships at the temple - the comments are staged and for effect

I think he has been frustrated for a while about the pitches , he is aware of the cost element but feels it’s vital this is looked at , certain works have been done but not had desired effect . New training ground is being looked at , this will be separate to Warwick university projectI reckon that's it Pete

'kin ' ell G, if you'd put away a tenner for every time you churned that out, you could buy the bloody club (you might have to downgrade your Jag for a second hand Peugeot to boost the playing budget, though)
his most successful years as manager are operating in this framework so why would he choose otherwise?
Napoleon XIVrobins works for the Sisu dollar and worships at the temple - the comments are staged and for effect
So if someone offered him a lot more dollar he'd go worship at their temple instead. Why would he stay in a job knowing he was being heavily prevented from continuing to improve us because of lack of financial support if he had other options?robins works for the Sisu dollar and worships at the temple - the comments are staged and for effect
I meant a new training ground tbf not a stadium at Warwick uniMay well plant the seed but the ground won't be fertile (Warwick was never a starter) .I think this is an early call if he gets a bad response It will be bye bye .Hope not.
