For those going to the FA Cup 1st round at Walsall, I've just found out that the Saddlers club next to the ground is now closed, looks like it's Walsall for drinking now

Been in there every year before and after games always had a good crack
Noticed it on football ground guide but thought check with Walsall
Phoned them this afternoon and a very nice lady explained it was shut down

I think you mean, no not the hotel lounge. The Hotel is a separate building next to the ground and welcomes visitors to visit the bar.

Yes Speedies getting my yes and no mixed up
It’s the single storey club to the left of the ground as you walk up from the station
Had to always remember to keep hold of your ticket if you wanted back in after the game
